About Us

We worked at the same restaurant during college but never met while working there. It wasn’t until years later at a mutual friend’s wedding, that fate brought us back together. We married in 2010, and shortly thereafter we had our first son, Asher; and in 2014, we had our second son, Brock. Nicole is the owner and stylist at a hair salon. She works part-time and is able to stay at home with our children part-time, as well. Nicole has a wonderful group of employees who have been working for her since she opened the salon, and many of them have become like family. Paul is an operations manager at a grain trading company. He has been with his company for over 11 years. He is very active in our community, our neighborhood association, and the kid’s activities and sports.

Our Home & Pets

We have always said we were going to build a home, not just a house, and we have made that happen. Our home has four bedrooms and more than 4,000 square feet, so there is plenty of room for a big family. We have the most amazing neighborhood, with so many children and families! The elementary school in our district is top-ranked in Minnesota. We have a little dog named Winnie, who is a King Charles Cavalier, and this breed of dog is meant for love. She is obsessed with the kids and her parents. We are so excited to bring another child into this home and neighborhood and for Winnie to have another child to love!

Our Extended Family

Family is super important to both of us. Nicole has two sisters she is very close to, and all three sisters live within 20 minutes of each other. Nicole’s parents have a total of seven grandkids, ages 13 and under. We spend a lot of time at a family cabin with these families, and the cousins love to get together for BBQ’s, fishing, and boating.

Paul is the oldest of four siblings in his family. His parents have six grandkids, ages six and under, with more on the way. We all enjoy an annual family vacation together. Paul’s parents live nearby, and we see them often, especially when the weather is nice and we can enjoy their outdoor pool with the kids. Grandma and Grandpa are hopeful for more little ones to love. When we told Grandma B it was time to start our adoption journey, the first thing out of her mouth was, "I can’t wait to meet my grandchild."

Our families are the most important part of our lives, and their continuing support for us and our growing family is amazing. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful and loving support system.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always talked about adding to our family through adoption. We both still remember the first time adoption was brought up in our relationship, at a wedding of a close friend when Nicole admitted to Paul she’d always wanted to adopt; Paul agreed. Ten years later, this dream of adoption is happening. After experiencing a very traumatic birth with our second son, doctors advised us that it would not be safe for Nicole to carry another child. We truly believe this was God’s way of leading us to adoption. In our hearts, we know there is going to be another child for us, and our hearts are bursting with love to meet him or her.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
