dear expectant mother
We are praying for you and your baby. Whether you choose us or not, we pray you are safe, that you find comfort during this difficult time, and that you also experience joy along the way.
Through our own experience with pregnancy, we encountered heartbreak, but we’ve also found more joy than we could possibly imagine. We’ve learned to cherish the simple things: that first giggle, each nap spent in each other’s arms, and even every cry. Your baby will be the child whose first steps we witness and first words we hear, and we can’t wait to celebrate those milestones. Most of all, your baby will be surrounded by unconditional love. In the same way that we considered James’s life precious even before he was born, your baby will always know how precious their life is—and that there’s nothing we wouldn’t do for them.
Your baby will also always know how strong and incredibly brave you are. We hope to have a relationship with you so that we and your baby can come to know your story and how it fits into our own. Whatever you decide, our promise is that our hearts and our family will always be open to you. We can’t pretend to understand what you are going through, but by choosing to give your baby life, we do know one thing: You are part of a miracle. Your selfless choice will change a family’s life! We hope it’s ours.
With gratitude,
David and Nicole

About Us
Hi, we’re David and Nicole! We met in Chicago in 2013 and immediately bonded over our mutual love of animals. We lived there until after our wedding five years ago and now live near the nation’s capital, where we’ve had so much fun exploring everything there is to do! Our favorite way to spend time together is hiking, and we love the fact that we can do that all year around here. We also love spending time with our friends and family, whether it’s trying a new restaurant, enjoying the national monuments, or just staying in. When we’re not out and about, David can be found tinkering on his computer, and Nicole loves to cook. During the week, we both work from home, which we love because we’re able to be together throughout the day. In the future, Nicole plans to leave work and dedicate her time to raising our family.
Our Home & Pets
Our neighborhood is such a gem! Everyone is so friendly, and you always see families walking around and kids playing outside. There are several parks nearby, and we’re also close to a downtown area with activities going on all year long. We especially love how diverse our area is; there’s no shortage of new cultural experiences for us to enjoy! We bought our house three years ago and have done a lot to make it feel like home. Now we really feel settled in, and our two cats, Grey and Squash, are pretty happy about that! They’re a special part of our family, and we know they’ll love having another human sibling to bond with!
Our Extended Family
We are absolutely blessed with a small but devoted family. Nicole is an only child, and her parents moved here about a year ago; they actually live in our neighborhood! Her mom takes care of James during the day while we work, and we have family dinner at least once a week. We spend a lot of time together on the weekends too.
David is the youngest of three brothers, who are now spread across the country. He has four nieces and nephews, who we wish we got to see more! We know that as our family grows, we will enjoy fostering those cousin relationships. His parents live in Florida and have been an incredible source of faith and support for us. Even though they aren’t right around the corner, they come to visit every chance they get!
We also consider our closest friends part of our family and are thankful to have many nearby. Everyone has given us such incredible support. Our family and friends are as excited as we are for our family to grow!
What Led Us To Adoption
We are the proud parents to our biological son, James, who has special needs. Even though having a child with special needs wasn’t always in our plans, adoption actually was. We always knew we would want to incorporate adoption into how we build our family; we just weren’t sure exactly when. As we settled into our life as a family of three, we began to think about growing our family again and really felt God calling us to adoption. After prayer and careful consideration, it felt clear that this was the right path for us, and we are so thankful to have that clarity! We see adoption as an incredible blessing and are so excited for this to be part of our family story.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
