dear expectant mother
We pray that you feel supported, loved, and encouraged as you consider what the best choice is for you and your child because we cannot imagine what you are going through. Please understand that we are grateful and blessed you are considering adoption; your baby is very lucky to have you care so much about their future.
We both meet here with our own unique stories that brought us here. We are both here because we have love in our hearts. Even though we don't know each other right now, know that we support you.
As you look through our profile, we hope you find a sense of comfort and peace. If we are lucky to have you choose us, please know we will love this baby unconditionally, it is our intention to express to you that our family is based on trust , love, support, encouragement, and honesty. Nicky was adopted by her family when she was six months old, and her adoptive parents cared for and loved her and her twin sister as if they were their own. We have a wonderful extended family and friends who will also give so much love to this child.
About Us
Hello! We are Karl and Nicky. We met each other in 2013 in the mountains of Colorado and got married on a dude ranch in 2015. Nicky is a loving, caring person and a true animal lover. Karl is a hard-working, family-first person who always tries to keep his family happy. After leaving Colorado and moving back to the Midwest to be closer to family, we started our horse farm. The adventure we started with building a private horse farm led to us moving to Texas as the farm and our family grew. The four of us, Karl, Nicky, and our two girls, spend our free time on the farm riding, playing outside, swimming, and enjoying our horses.
Our Home & Pets
We own and live on our private horse farm in the heart of Texas, where we have a number of animals and pets, including horses, cows, donkeys, dogs, and cats. Our horses are all very well trained, and our dogs love to play, especially with our kids. We have a close circle of friends, all with young kids who play together really well. Even though we live outside of town, it is a great community with kids who all enjoy playing together no matter their ages. Our kids attend a good school system with teachers who try to go above and beyond for their students.
Our Extended Family
Nicky has a large extended family with over 30 family members who regularly get together throughout the year. Summers include visiting Nicky’s twin sister at her lake house, and winters include visiting her mom, her brother and his family, and their extended family, where we kick off the Christmas holiday with matching PJs, Christmas events in Arizona, watching Christmas movies, and decorating the house.
The majority of Karl’s family are in Michigan, where we try to visit as often as we can, taking trips to the cider mill, going to Wings games, traveling to the UP, and spending time at the 4-H barn. His family comes to visit us in Texas multiple times a year.
What Led Us To Adoption
Nicky and her twin sister were adopted by her parents at six months, and they showered them with all the love and support parents could give. She and her sister aren’t the only adopted members of her family. She has cousins and a niece who were also adopted, and she comes from a very supportive family. We talked about adopting while we were dating, so it has always been in our hearts. Since Nicky is no longer able to get pregnant due to health risks, we decided we want to adopt because we have so much love and support to give, and we also wanted to add more children to the family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
