dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to begin this letter by expressing our absolute gratitude for you and your brave consideration. While neither of us can even begin to fathom the struggles you are going through, we want to let you know we will be there for you and your child, if you choose, every step of the way.

We want you to know we are beyond excited to become parents and have dreamed about this point of our lives for many years. We have a strong, loving relationship accompanied by loving family and friends who can’t wait to love and support your child. We plan on providing your child with endless opportunities to pursue their dreams and interests and to be whoever they want to be. We plan on offering your child a life that is full of endless adventures, many ice cream and movie nights on the couch, and, most importantly, lots and lots of love. We will be there for your child through the highest points of their life, cheering them on, and be there at the lowest points of their life to catch them when they fall.

We are so blessed and grateful for this opportunity, and just want to say thank you for reading this letter and for considering us.

With lots of love,
Nick & Nicholas

About Us

Welcome to the life of “The Nicks”. One goes by Nick and the other by Nicholas. Nick is a critical care nurse, while Nicholas works alongside his parents on their family farm raising livestock. When we are not working, we love traveling the world, with our most recent trip being to Athens and the Greek islands. In the summertime, you can find us lying out by our pool or down on the river with our camper. We both love to cook but also love going out to eat even more.

Our Home & Pets

We live in Iowa in a beautiful, modern home that has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Our neighborhood is quiet but with lots of kids playing in the yards. We love all animals and have five dogs: Tyson, Gunner, Willow, Beau, and Diesel. One of our favorite parts of our home is the pool in the backyard that we are often found relaxing by in the summer months. Our friends and family also bring their kids over to enjoy it. Within walking distance from our home is a church, our favorite spot (Dairy Queen), and the elementary school Nick went to school at.

Our Extended Family

Family isn’t just who we are related to by blood but whom we hold close to our hearts. We have so many close friends we see often and are very involved with as well as our large families.

Nicholas comes from a very large family and is one of three children, with two nephews and a plethora of extended family members. Nick is one of five children and has three nephews as well as lots of extended family members. One of our favorite things to do is get together with the family on one of the families’ farms for various get-togethers.

When it comes to spending time with our friends, we love to go out for dinners or get together at one of our houses for a game or movie night. In the summertime, we love to take our camper down to the river and grill out with all of our family and friends.

What Led Us To Adoption

To say it lightly, we are so excited to be on this journey to adopt a child. One of our biggest fears with being gay was the inability to have children of our own. We both love children and come from very large families and have always wanted to be parents. When we first got together, one of the first things we discussed was wanting to have a family of our own and how someday we wanted to adopt a child. Now here we are on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
