dear expectant mother

If we are chosen to be parents, you can be rest assured your child will grow up in a warm and welcome environment with all the love and support from us, our family, and our friends. We will support them on any decisions that they make in their life, at any time.

We look forward to raising a child that we can take to the zoo for the day and through the park for a walk, and we can’t wait to watch them grow up with our nieces and nephews and our friends’ kids. As they grow older, we are excited to do with them the activities they enjoy. We envision your child being involved in sports, dance, acting, after-school activities, and anything else we can watch and be there for support and to cheer them on.

Rest assured, your child will be loved unconditionally.

About Us

We grew up in the same town and went to the same school, though our paths never crossed until a few years later, when we met through mutual friends. We got married after dating for four years. Amanda now works as an administrative assistant, and she says her perfect day starts off with Starbucks and ends with spending time with family and friends. Nick is in electrical construction, and it’s said he can walk into a room full of strangers and leave with a room full of friends. He is also a part-time musician. Together, we like to watch sports, go to concerts, go to the gym, and travel. Of course, staying home for dinner and a movie is just as enjoyable.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet, suburban neighborhood with parks and the park district within walking distance. We are in a three-bedroom ranch and have a large backyard with plenty of room for children to share with our two dogs. Our dogs are medium-sized mixed breeds, and they’re both rescues who love attention, love being around people, and love handing out kisses. They can't wait for a new addition to the family.

Our Extended Family

Having family scattered all over the United States, most of our travel is to spend time with them. The holidays are our favorite time to spend with the family: Easter at Amanda's brother’s house; Thanksgiving in Minnesota, followed by Black Friday shopping, which the kids love because they usually get an early gift from Aunt Amanda; family grab-bag and cooking on Christmas. We have four nieces and three nephews, and our whole family is excited and supportive of a new addition to the family.

Most recently, Amanda excitedly had a life-changing event when she found her adoptive sister after two years of searching. We are so blessed to have an ever-growing family, and we cannot wait to welcome your child into our clan.

What Led Us To Adoption

Before knowing we couldn't have kids naturally, Amanda always wanted to adopt due to adoption being prevalent in her own immediate family. After years of trying to have children, we were told we should try IVF, and after three failed attempts and multiple miscarriages, we were told we couldn't have kids. We see this as a sign to make our dream of adoption come true, and we are so excited to finally complete the family we’ve always wanted.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
