We can only imagine the weight, strength and courage you have to be making this tough decision. Please know that we have a warm home where laughter, acceptance, and love are fostered. We eat home-cooked dinners, often grown ourselves, around the table where we give thanks. We travel together as a family around the world. The cohesiveness of our family has given us fulfillment as parents and as people, as well as provided our children with the courage to beat their own unique path in the world. Our three children are very excited to be able to share their home with a new brother or sister.
If you choose us as adoptive parents, your child would attend the #113 ranked high school in the nation (it is also a STEM school). The grade school, Pre-K to 3rd grade, and middle school are all within half a mile from our front door. We take at least one cruise per year to other countries to expose our children to other cultures, and we take many small vacations throughout the year, including an annual canoe trip.
Although we are unable to have a fourth child naturally, we still want to share the journey of life with another soul. Know that if you choose us, your child will be supported, nurtured, championed, and loved every moment of everyday.. We would be truly honored and blessed if you chose us as your adoptive family.
Nick grew up in Illinois with his family. His father owned an Italian Bakery and his mother worked in an office. After High School, he volunteered during Hurricane Katrina and then joined the Air Force. He came home after his tour and became a firefighter and paramedic. Kim grew up in Illinois with her family. After High School, she entered the healthcare industry where she built a very successful career.
We initially met at work in 2012 where Kim actually interviewed Nick for a part-time job. It was love at first sight. Four years later, Nick deployed to Kuwait for six months with the Air Force. Upon his return, he dropped to his knee and proposed in the terminal. We have been married now for just over two wonderful years. We share very similar interests and cherish our time together.
Our Home & Pets
We have now lived in a small town in Illinois for three years. Our home is a split-level ranch. We have four bedrooms, a family room, a living room, and a three-seasons room. We have remodeled about 75% of the home ourselves since moving in. We love the outdoors. When home, we spend most of our time tending to our large garden where we try to grow a large portion of the food we eat. We have cherry, apple, and peach trees, as well as raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry patches. We also have four chickens, each produces fresh and healthy eggs daily. We are big-time animal lovers!
Our Extended Family
Nick has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Nick’s father & uncles carry on the family tradition of running a 100 yr old Italian Bakery. Nick’s mother owned a restaurant & also works in accounts payable. Nick has 11 nieces & nephews. Nick’s Italian side of the family celebrate family & have many traditions such as wine making, producing soppressata, Memorial Day camping & fishing trips to Wisconsin, & of course Italian Holiday meals are a big production.
Kim has 2 sisters and 6 nieces & nephews. Every 3 months, all the ladies get together & take a trip somewhere that leads to hilarious memories. Most recent notable trips include: Amish country, IN; Galena, IL; & the Susan G. Komen Orman 60 mile 3 day breast cancer walk in Tampa, FL. Between both families, we host around 5 big get togethers every year as well as attend anywhere from 10 -20 parties.
When our families heard we were looking to adopt, the positive support was overwhelming, especially our children. Our youngest says he cannot wait for a younger brother or sister to teach guitar and basketball too. They cannot wait to welcome another member into our family. There will be around 20 small children in our family for your child to grow up with.
What Led Us To Adoption
When we decided to grow our family we were unable to conceive naturally. Although Kim has 3 children from a previous marriage, we would like to raise a child together. We talked about how truly amazing adoption is and how it would be the perfect path to fulfill our dream of having more children. After a big family meeting, we all decided we definitely want to bring a child into our home through the miracle of adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
