dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the selfless act of love you have shown by considering adoption. The decision you are making is not an easy one, and we want you to know we admire your strength and courage.

As potential adoptive parents, we understand the weight of responsibility that comes with raising a child. We want to assure you that if given the opportunity, we will provide a loving and nurturing environment for your precious baby. Our hearts are filled with anticipation and excitement as we imagine the joy and happiness a child will bring into our lives.

Words cannot fully convey our gratitude for the incredible gift you are considering giving us. We promise to honor your decision by providing a lifetime of love, support, and opportunities for your child. Your selflessness will forever be remembered in our hearts.
Thank you again for considering adoption as an option, and please know that we hold immense respect for you. Should you choose us as adoptive parents, we would be honored.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Antonio & Nichelle

About Us

We have been blessed with a long and abiding love and marriage. It has been an incredible adventure since the day we married. Antonio’s career has moved us to various locations. Antonio is a basketball coach, and Nichelle is a school psychologist. Service is at the core of our jobs, and our calling is serving others. We love what we do, but when we are not in service, we love to exercise, travel, learn, and explore. We try to move our bodies daily by running or walking. We travel the globe and try to visit new and exciting places yearly. The beach is our favorite spot. Whenever we see a new city or location, we must engage in the culture and sites and find out what makes that place unique. We love to explore new restaurants, activities, and foods.

Our Home

Our home is a beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath home in a family-oriented community in North Carolina. The city is a progressive and growing area that doesn’t feel like a metropolitan oasis. It’s known for its universities and technology. We are centrally located and close to our families. The public school district is nationally recognized. The schools are diverse with a mission and vision that desire to produce critical thinkers and good citizens.

Our Extended Family

Family is everything. Nichelle lost her mother in January, but her father is still living and celebrates a birthday in October. Nichelle has a brother as well as a half-brother and half-sister from her dad’s first marriage. Nichelle’s brother has three daughters, and they have three children. Her half-siblings each have a child and grandchildren. Nichelle’s dad had four siblings, so she has aunts, uncles, and many cousins on her dad’s side of the family. Nichelle’s mother was the youngest of ten children, giving her an uncle and lots of cousins on her mom’s side of the family.

We have family reunions on both sides of the family every two years that go back four generations. We have monthly and quarterly cousins gatherings. We meet at each other’s houses for game night, do events and activities together, and take trips and excursions together.

Antonio is an only child, but his mother was from a family with four siblings. He has several first and second cousins.

What Led Us To Adoption

Infertility led us to adoption. It was disheartening and overwhelming. After enduring repeated surgeries for fibroids and ovarian cysts, we were tired. However, our unwavering belief that God has a plan for us led us to consider adoption as an alternative path to parenthood. We made this decision with the assurance that God has another plan for us. In moments of uncertainty, we find peace in the idea that if one door closes, another will open. We have friends who have adopted, and the joy and love their children bring them is a testament to God.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
