dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
It’s hard to put into words how much we admire you! Considering adoption for your baby takes immense amounts of strength and love. Choosing us would mean so much, and we would forever be grateful for your help in completing our family.
We’re a family that values education. We have a shelf full of children’s books, many of which focus on diversity and how our similarities and differences make the world great. We like to stay active and have fun. During the summer, you’ll see us with our kiddie pool out, camping, or biking around town. In the winter, we like to play in the snow and visit family and friends. Bryan’s dad, “Papa,” loves traveling and invites us on a family vacation every few years. Once our kids are old enough, we’ll start signing them up for various sports and activities, and it will be so fun to see what sparks their interest the most. Bryan is secretly hoping they’ll love basketball!
If we seem like the right family, we cannot wait to meet your baby and to start showering him or her with our love. We’d also love to keep in touch!

Watch Our Video
We started dating our senior year of high school. We both had the same college picked out and were having a lot of fun together, so we decided to stay together and see what happened. Bryan majored in mechanical engineering and Nichele in graphic design, so our very different career paths made for lots to talk about. We got married after our senior year. We’ve enjoyed many years of traveling, adventures, and quality time together before deciding to start a family. Our son, Emmett, was born in February 2020. These days we both work from home for amazing companies that allow for flexible schedules. This makes things like focusing on our family, getting chores done, etc., super easy, and for that we are grateful.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the suburbs outside of a big city. There’s a frisbee golf course, a skate park, and four different playgrounds all within walking distance. We’re friends with our neighbors and love how friendly everyone is here. The basement is our favorite room in the house; it’s decorated in a Harry Potter, Star Wars, Nintendo theme. We also have two dogs: Izzie, our sweet old angel, and Cache, our gentle giant.
Our Extended Family
Nichele’s parents live three miles away, so we see them often. They’re beyond thrilled to be grandparents again and can’t wait for the new addition to our family. Bryan’s three siblings all live within two hours of us with their families, and his parents live just 45 minutes north on their family farm. We get together at the farm often, and they are known for hosting holidays with his large extended family (often 40+ people at their family events!). His family was also very excited when we told them we’re looking to adopt, and our kids will have plenty of cousins to play with!
What Led Us To Adoption
We always imagined our family as two children plus a dog or two. After an extremely rough pregnancy and postpartum experience, Nichele knew carrying another child naturally was not in the cards. We had talked about the idea of adopting a child in the past, and this cemented the idea. We really want our son to grow up as someone’s sibling and best friend. We feel our family is not quite complete since we both have so much more love in our hearts to give!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
