dear expectant mother

As a woman who has never had the chance to feel a baby growing inside her, Nelly can’t begin to imagine what you are feeling now. We know you have given so much thought to this courageous decision and want to do what is best for your baby. We can try our best to put ourselves in your shoes, though. If it were us and life dealt us the hand you were dealt, we would want to know that our child would be able to grow up in a stable, safe, and loving home.

We believe we have so much room in our hearts and lives, and we can fulfill the dreams you have for your child. We have a great support system of friends and family close by that will be a huge part in the child’s life. Tony’s playfulness will make him a great father, and Nelly’s maternal instincts will give her the tools she needs to raise a healthy and well-adjusted child.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our eager-to-grow family. We appreciate what a huge decision this is for you, and we have the utmost respect for your selflessness in this difficult time.

About Us

Our first date was at a local restaurant, and it was love from the start as we discussed our shared dream of starting a family. We were married in 2016, after almost two years of dating, and immediately started hoping for children. Tony works in information technology as a business analyst, while Nelly works as a pharmacist in a hospital. Together, we enjoy going on runs and staying physically active. In the evenings, we can be found cooking meals together or going for walks to the ice cream shop. Tony is always making Nelly laugh, and Nelly is always making sure Tony eats his vegetables! We have a lovely home that we live in with our perky Beagle and two cuddly cats, and we can’t wait to open it up to our growing family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a one-and-a-half story, three-bedroom, gingerbread-style house with plenty of room for a growing family. Our home is located in a quiet little suburban neighborhood, with a grade school and middle school within walking distance. Our neighborhood is filled with activities for kids, such as a Fourth of July parade, a public pool, and Trunk-or-Treat events. We even have a park a quarter of a mile away, and our house has a big yard to catch lightning bugs in or play with our dog, Ben.

Our Extended Family

We come from two different backgrounds yet have many family traditions in common. Both of our extended families live in the same city, which lets us see them often. On Thanksgiving, we balance lunch and dinner between the two sides of the family, and normally we end up eating an entire pie! In the summer, too, Nelly’s side of the family gets together often for sunday brunch and outdoor barbecues.

Nelly has two sisters, they each have two children. Nelly’s mother is excited to spoil her new grandbaby. Tony has a brother and sister, his parents can’t wait to have their first grandchild in their arms. Tony’s mother will spoil the baby with plenty of baked goods and Italian dishes. Tony also has several cousins with children that range from two months old to thirteen years old.

What Led Us To Adoption

After 2 years of trying to conceive a baby, we tried IVF. Unfortunately, that was not successful, but our dream of becoming parents was still strong. Even while dating and talking about having a family, adoption was a positive option. We have a friend who was adopted as a child. He told us how he appreciated the life that his birthmother allowed him to have by placing him with a couple who raised him to be the man and father that he is today. Our hearts grow a little bigger just thinking about being given the chance to parent and raise a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
