dear expectant mother

We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Considering an adoption plan is extremely brave, courageous, and selfless. We cannot begin to imagine the emotional journey you are going through and the tough decisions you have ahead of you. We want you to know we are extremely grateful for the chance to become parents, and we know we wouldn’t have this opportunity without you! We are excited at the thought of meeting you and getting the potential chance of building our futures together through this incredible bond.

Please know that your child is being prayed for and has been wanted for a long time. He or she will be covered with love and support, not only by us but also by our closely connected community of family and friends. We promise your baby will always be a reminder of your loving and selfless gift and will be raised in the most loving and warmest of homes.

About Us

After dating for a year and a half, we were married in 2010 and have been enjoying life together ever since. Nathan runs an adult hockey league and helps manage a sports facility. Leslye is a facility scheduler and runs youth “learn to” programs at an ice sports facility as the youth program director. While our lives are already so fulfilling and full of love and laughter, we are ready to welcome a child into our family. We both come from families that are very close, so we have always wanted children. Family is extremely important to us, and we are so excited to add a child to our own little family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet Colorado town in a ranch-style home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large finished basement as a space our children can play in. We live on a very welcoming cul-de-sac where most of our neighbors are young parents, so there would always be someone for your child to play with. Our community has many family-oriented events every year, such as Movie Night in the Park, a community BBQ, and hot air balloon festivals that we can’t wait to be able to bring our own children to.
We share our home with two senior cats, Roxy and Cole, and their little brother Rufus, a two-year-old American bulldog. All are great with children and will love having a little one to play and snuggle with.

Our Extended Family

We are very lucky to have such a supportive, loving, and encouraging family. Family is everything to us, and we value all the time shared together.

Leslye’s parents live in Texas, and even though we have to travel to see them, we get to spend a lot of time with them throughout the year; they also come back to Colorado quite often to spend time with their grandkids. Her brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew live close by and are excited to have another cousin to play with. Nathan’s family all lives within 30 minutes of us. Nathan has six cousins, and his family can’t wait to add another cousin into their lives.

We can’t wait to share and make many more family traditions with a new little one. We love doing anything together as a family, especially having BBQs and spending the holidays together. Both of our families are very supportive of us adopting, and they are all excited to be part of this amazing journey with us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have certainly been tested over the last several years while battling medical issues, infertility, and being told we have a slim chance of ever having biological children. We have had our share of ups and downs and have questioned what to do next, but we have grown stronger as a couple and as individuals. At some point, everyone has to learn to adapt and adjust to the circumstances they have been given, and we feel God has been preparing us for adoption. We have been lucky enough to know a few families who have gone through the process of adoption, and we have seen how happy they are. We are so excited to grow our family through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
