dear expectant mother
We want to start by saying we think you are an amazing, strong, and courageous woman. The decisions you are facing are not enviable, but we appreciate you and wish you all the best as you are making them. We want to tell you thank you for even considering our profile and to potentially allow us to adopt your baby. We are anxiously awaiting a call to be able to prepare for a new baby to be added to our family, and we would be honored if you would choose us.
To introduce ourselves, our names are Mike and Sarah, and we have two sons, Donald (7) and Frank (4). We were blessed with healthy boys, and now we are hoping to be parents again. We feel a strong calling to adoption, and our sons are showing that as well. Although we have not yet shared with them the plan to adopt, they both have talked to us about having a baby through adoption. They keep asking if we can just “go to that hospital and pick up a baby”, so they don’t quite understand how it works. But it is obvious to us, that God is opening their hearts for a future baby as well, and we couldn’t be happier!
In our home, we have a very loving and caring environment. Our boys know that they will always be loved, but they also know they are responsible to follow the rules, and help where they can. Our family loves to play together, snuggle on the couch on cold (or extremely hot) evenings, and we love to be outside as much as possible. In our family, a new baby would be welcomed with open arms and loved more than can be expressed in words. They would be raised in our home, baptized in the church, and taught that Jesus loves them, just the way that their whole family, which especially includes their birthmother, loves them. They would know from early on that they are adopted, and they are doubly blessed because their birthmother loved them so much that she chose to let us love them, too.
While you make the decision, we hope that you can find peace and comfort for the days ahead. We will keep you in our prayers, and ask God to help you to make the right choice for you and the baby.
We met playing volleyball in college, but it was not “love at first sight”. It took a couple months for Mike to win Sarah over (she kind of thought he was a ball hog), but as soon as we started dating, we fell fast and hard. She endured Nascar races and he attempted to teach her how to drive a stickshift. No matter what, there was always volleyball - oh, and love! There was definitely love. Fortunately, even as our lives have changed with marriage, jobs, parenting, moves and more, we have been able to find time to spend together. Through it all, we can honestly say that we love each other more now than when we met as teenagers.
We are both engineers, although Sarah now stays at home and Mike is a director of sales for a great company. Thanks to Mike’s position, which he loves, Sarah is able to work part time for her former employer and help with the boys’ school, attending field trips, etc. As a family, we enjoy spending time together doing almost anything outdoors. Our favorite pastimes include biking, attending baseball and college football games, playing games outside, cooking and baking, and watching American Ninja Warrior. Although the last few are inside, we love when the whole family is home, eating and lounging together on the couch.
Our Home & Pets
We absolutely love our home, neighborhood, and town. We are located near a large city where we go often to the zoo, museums, botanical gardens, art fairs, and shopping! Our town is a college town, with a fun downtown area that has many opportunities for children and families to thrive. The schools in our town are wonderful, and typically rank within the top 10 percent of the state, with many opportunities available for all children within the district.
We recently purchased our house, which is a 2-story home with 4 bedrooms and finished basement. It is 5 minutes from school, church, and the grocery store. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with room to play outside. Plus, our yard backs up to a green space that has many mature trees between our subdivision and another to give more privacy. Gussie, our black Labrador retriever likes to chase the birds, frogs, and anything else that appears in the yard!
Our Extended Family
Although we do not have our families living in the same town, we spend as much time as possible with all of them. We live about 40 minutes away from most of Mike’s extended family, which includes his mom; his sister, brother-in-law, and nephew, Wil; his grandma; and two uncles and their families. His brother and sister-in-law are both in the Air Force and currently live about 6 hours away with their two children.
Sarah’s family is about 4 hours away, which includes her mom, brother, sister-in-law, and our four nieces and nephews. Although we don’t get to see them as often, we do talk with them often and keep in contact as often as possible. We both lost our dads to cancer, but with so many uncles and aunts, there is a lot of love to spread around!
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has been on our hearts for a long time. As a little girl, Sarah used to pretend that her dolls were all her adopted children – she had 11. We feel that we have been led to this path through our faith. We moved into this home, and bought a different car, specifically with the hopes of adding a baby into our lives. The house has enough space to continue growing our family, in a kid friendly area. Although we aren’t prepared to bring home the 11 that Sarah dreamed of as a girl, we would be honored if we were chosen to love your baby. We have prayed a lot about the whole process, and we hope to be blessed with the opportunity. Mike’s aunt and uncle adopted nearly 10 years ago, and we realize what a special bond his cousin has with his parents and his birthmom. We hope to be able to provide the same for our future child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
