About Us
Hello, we are Mike and Ines! We met in 2015 in Croatia when Mike was traveling for work in Ines’s home country. We were married in 2018, and Ines moved to the U.S. in 2019. We enjoy traveling, dining, music, and the company of friends and family members. Ines grew up as a musician and has spent most of her life in the service industry, making her a very outgoing, hospitable, and thoughtful person. Mike has worked in the construction industry for 15 years, 12 of them as a contractor for the U.S. Navy. We travel quite regularly as Mike’s occupation currently sends us to locations all over the globe. We are excited to begin the next chapter of our lives as parents and look forward to this opportunity.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet community next to a golf course and are surrounded by helpful and supportive neighbors. Our home is within two miles of the home Mike grew up in since he was five years old. There is a strong military presence in our area as it is home to a large naval base. Mike’s childhood friends and their families also live very close, which has been a great support system as we treat each other like family. We also have a 10-year-old fur baby by the name of Tank. He’s the prince of the house.
Our Extended Family
Ines’s mother and brother still live in Croatia. She stays in constant contact with them as she videochats with her mother every day. Her mother is retired, and her brother is a full-time musician in a successful band. We try to visit them at least once a year. While visiting, we enjoy dining with them and attending cultural festivals.
Mike’s father and stepmother currently live in Florida. His mother, sister, brother-in-inlaw, and niece live within 20 minutes. We regularly get together with the family in town for dinner, events, or just to watch sports on TV. They have been very supportive through all the tribulations of our immigration experience, and we know they will continue to be throughout our adoption journey.
What Led Us To Adoption
Ines has known since she was a teenager that she would never be able to conceive a child. She was diagnosed with a fertility disorder at age 19. We have discussed alternative options since before marriage as we always knew we wanted to raise a child together. We began the journey of surrogacy in 2020, but after a short period, we decided the opportunity to adopt and nurture a child was the correct path for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
