dear expectant mother
We are having a hard time coming up with the words to express how thankful we are to even be considered in this process. We have no way of knowing what it’s like to be in your shoes and to fully understand the emotions you are experiencing. A decision like this takes strength, courage, and selflessness; we hope you understand how admired you are for that.
Should you choose us, your baby will be surrounded with love and support. He or she will be raised on the farm and have a childhood filled with puddle jumping, bale climbing, and ranger rides. Obviously, we are completely biased, but we believe there is no better way of life than life on the farm. There are so many lessons learned on the farm that you can carry with you wherever the future may lead. We have worked hard the last few years to design the lifestyle we want for our children. We look forward to the days of grilling on the porch, campfires in the backyard, and time spent with friends and family.
We wish you the best in making this decision and hope you find peace with whatever you decide. We would be honored, excited, and forever grateful should you choose us for your baby.
Hi! We are Matt and Mikayla from Wisconsin. We met in April 2014 and were engaged by January. When you know it’s right, you don’t need a lot of time. We got married in our farm’s hay shed in June of 2016. Since then, we have moved three times, and are finally in our forever home right next to the family farm. We are convinced our relationship can handle anything now that we have survived multiple home renovations and countless trips to Menards. Both of us work on the dairy farm. Working so close to home gives us a lot of flexibility. We are both very laid back and enjoy the simple things in life. Since we both have so many great memories of growing up on a farm, we look forward to being able to give that same experience to our future children.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a rural area with great neighbors where everybody knows everybody but only 40 minutes from the city. We live in a newly remodeled split-level home with an open-concept living area and front porch. Our house is tucked back in the woods with a long driveway. The woods surrounding our house are connected to the farm’s woodland and the land owned by Mikayla’s mom and stepdad. The woods have miles of trails connecting our house, the farm, family, and neighbors. We have two dogs, Captain and Charlie. At the farm, we have lots of cows and one miniature donkey named Petey.
Our Extended Family
We both have very social families. We live just a few miles from Mikayla’s parents and stepparents. Her youngest sister is in college, and her older sister farms with her husband a few hours away. All of Matt’s family lives within 30 minutes of our house.
In the summertime, we enjoy the outdoors. Every summer, Matt’s family rents a cabin. We spend time together fishing, tubing, riding four-wheelers, and talking around the campfire. Together, we have nine nieces and nephews; this makes for intense games of spoons and kickball. When we were younger, we were both very active in 4-H, and now our nieces and nephews are. The kids take calves from our farm, and we help them get ready for the county fair. It’s really fun to teach them new things and see them excited about the same things we loved as kids.
Mikayla’s family loves to cook…and eat. Our holiday plans revolve around our menu. We spend a lot of time around the kitchen table talking and playing games. Both of our families are so excited for us to add to the “chaos.”
What Led Us To Adoption
For reasons out of our control, we are unable to have biological children. We have always been very positive and believed whatever is meant for us will come to us. We have spent the last few years trying to get to a place where we felt “ready” to invite a tiny human into our lives. We want to be able to provide the best home-life possible and really be present for our children. We feel we are now in a very stable place physically, financially, and emotionally. The fact that we have waited a little longer than expected has really strengthened our relationship, and we are very excited to begin this next journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
