dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile so you can get to know us a bit. We hope to be a bright light in these likely dark times. We know this may be a very emotional and stressful time for you. We can’t say enough about how brave, selfless, and strong you are to consider such a huge decision.
We can’t wait to make wonderful memories with a new life, learn what our future child is interested in, and help them explore those interests. We will be there for the highs, like cheering and celebrating birthdays and graduations, as well as the lows of cleaning scraped knees and wiping tears when hearts get hurt. We will be there for all of it.
Our family and friends will also be there as an outstanding support system. They have been rooting us on during our journey over the last five years. We currently have two infants and two toddlers in the family plus several friends with small children, so a new baby would have other children to grow and play with as well. We truly cannot express what it will mean for us to have an opportunity to raise, love, and care for the blessing of a baby.
We met at work and have been married for seven years. Despite seeing each other at work and at home, we still look forward to spending time together. We are a laid-back, fun-loving couple who enjoys eating dinner together, watching movies, listening to music, and occasionally walking in the park, bowling, and traveling. We are both full-time, long-term employees currently able to work from home due to the pandemic. Christina’s outgoing, friendly, and positive, and she loves chocolate and Starbucks. She also enjoys exercising and reading. Miguel is more reserved, thoughtful, and comedic. He enjoys golf, cooking, and completing home improvement projects, and he is an awesome gift giver. At times, we enjoy going out to restaurants or visiting family and friends, but most of our days are spent right in the comfort of our own home.
Our Home & Pets
Our cozy three-bedroom ranch in Missouri is on the corner of a quiet, safe, diverse neighborhood. We can’t wait to decorate our child’s room and introduce him or her to STEM toys. We have a large fenced backyard with plenty of room to play. We would love to get a swingset when our child is old enough and play video and board games. We live in an excellent school district that is known for its diversity and the high test scores of its students. We have many nearby parks. We have one medium-sized, well-behaved, playful dog named Monty.
Our Extended Family
Miguel has a very large family. He has 3 siblings and 7 nieces and nephews with a host of cousins, uncles and aunts. Christina has 1 brother, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 aunts, and several cousins.
Our immediate family traditions are eating dinners together nightly with no cell phones. Every Friday we enjoy Friday Night Movie night, and we take turns selecting the movie. We have a board on the fridge that lists dinners for the week. We also try to plan a family trip once a year.
We celebrate birthdays together with our extended family. Once a month, we have a Sunday brunch after church with Christina’s side of the family, and everyone goes around the table and tells how they are doing. Most holidays are spent with family. We either attend two family functions or celebrate on alternating days. One of our favorite traditions is attending Miguel’s family Christmas party and playing the “rob your neighbor” gift game. We also attend family functions, such as family reunions, baby dedications, confirmations, and quinceañeras.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are so excited at the chance to adopt our first baby! We are a blended family. While we each have one biological child (a 15-year-old son who lives with us and a 14-year-old daughter who does not), unfortunately we have been unsuccessful with having one together. A friend of ours had a successful adoption and inspired us to look into the opportunity. We love the idea of parenting a child together, growing our family, and at the same time sharing our home, love, life, and all our blessings with a new precious miracle of our own.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
