dear expectant mother
You are strong and brave, and we are so thankful for your selflessness. It is essential to us that your child knows their story and how wonderful you are. We will raise your baby with endless encouragement, adventure, compassion, patience, and creativity. We will support his or her biggest dreams and provide unconditional love. We believe in learning through play and providing stimulating experiences. Traveling, exploring nature, and learning about other cultures and ways of life are all things we believe allow children to explore and learn about the world around them. We will honor your child as an individual and encourage the expression of their originality and creativity. We will teach your child to be kind and promise to lead by example. We strive to make a positive difference in the world and will guide your child in doing the same.
They say that life is written in the stars. We know with the true miracle of adoption, our family will be blessed in a way we never expected. As we gaze into the dark night sky, we begin to remember how vast the universe is. We may not know our exact story at this point in our lives, but we know there is so much more to come. We can’t wait for our stars to meet, to intertwine your story with ours, and to forever be etched in the beauty of the sky together.
We met in confirmation class at church in eighth grade, but our paths didn’t cross again until after college. We have now been married for 6 ½ years. Michelle is a part-time teacher, and Nick owns his own business, mostly working from home. We love the flexibility our jobs allow our family. Summers off for Michelle and a self-created schedule for Nick provide our family with the ability to travel and spend quality time together. We love to cook, play outside, eat ice cream, and help others. It may sound cliché, but we are best friends. We know the stars were aligned when God led us to one another. We have a son named Beckett, who is 2 ½. He is full of life! He loves playing outside, riding anything with wheels, going to the zoo, and playing with kids of all ages.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is located in the suburbs of a large metropolitan city. We live in a neighborhood full of children. Our backyard has a built-in sledding hill and a lot of green space for play and our garden. We are near a park where we spend many evenings. We love to have get-togethers at our house with way too much food and yard games. Our schools are highly rated, and our community is very active. There is always something to do, and we love to stay involved. Our dog, Bear, is a Tibetan terrier. He is extremely friendly and very laid back. He is quite popular wherever we take him as his breed is unique and he is adorable! Bear and Beckett are the best of buds.
Our Extended Family
We both grew up surrounded by huge families and loved the energy and memories made with many cousins and siblings. While Nick’s family lives across the country, we live fifteen minutes away from both Michelle’s sisters and parents. We spend Christmas and a week in the summer with Nick’s family, vacationing all together. Nick’s parents visit us often. WIth our experience of having large families ourselves, we always envisioned our house being full, with multiple kiddos running around our legs, toys everywhere, and endless giggles.
Some of our favorite traditions are celebrating each holiday to the fullest. We love apple and strawberry picking, cutting down a Christmas tree, and breakfast in bed on birthdays. Birthdays are a big deal in our house! We spend breaks traveling to new places. From California to New Orleans to Maine, we love to see and experience it all. We also love to spend time outdoors hiking, boating, and swimming. In the summer, we love taking nightly family walks. We can’t wait to continue these traditions as our family grows.
What Led Us To Adoption
After five years of infertility struggles and a miscarriage, we know God has a different plan for us. This path has been perfectly paved for us by something greater. He has shown us signs that have allowed our hearts to be filled with the hope of adding a child through adoption. Our hearts long to add another baby as we know we have so much love to give. Through these experiences, we have come to find our relationship has been built on a solid foundation, making us stronger. We are forever thankful for this journey as we have grown as a couple and as parents. We cherish each day we have as parents to Beckett and can’t wait to welcome a new little one into our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
