Dear Expectant Mother,
First of, we want to thank you for reading our profile and considering our family to love and raise your child. We know this is a very difficult time and decision for you. We hope to bring you comfort and confidence in knowing your child will be surrounded by love, opportunities, experiences, family, and friends, should you choose us.
Your child will have an instant big sister who will be his or her lifelong friend and playmate. Rest assured, your child will never be alone! They will play games, enjoy puzzles and playdough, read books, ride bikes, vacation, learn to cook and bake, and participate in activities that he or she desires.
We would be ever so lucky to raise your child in our home. It will truly be a huge honor and blessing for you to select us.
About Us
We have often referred to ourselves as the imperfect-perfect couple. Neither of us is close to perfect, but what one lacks, the other makes up for. Gus is a detail-oriented planner who can fix anything and will get on the floor to play and be a silly husband and dad. He works as an analyst for the state. Michelle is a big-picture, carefree, spontaneous, patient wife and mother. She works as a consultant for an educational company. Together we make the strongest team and can accomplish anything. We love to travel, cook and eat, sing and dance, and just be together as a family. On any given weekend, you can find us out hiking, packing some snacks and drinks for the beach, riding bikes, grilling at home with friends and family, attending the many festivals in our area, or just relaxing at home.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet neighborhood where all you hear are children laughing and playing outside. We are close to many parks and playgrounds, and our neighborhood pool. We love our family bike rides, playing outside in the yard together and eating on our screened in porch in the summer. We have two dogs that are spoiled rotten. Marley, a poodle mix, follows us everywhere, often getting stepped on, and Betsy is our blue tick coonhound rescue dog. They are both as gentle as could be. They put up with Isabella dressing them up as a princess and are good patients when she wants to play doctor with them.
Our Extended Family
We would not be where we are today without our family and friends! We actually met through a close friend of ours during a summer barbeque. Michelle has two older siblings, and Gustavo has an older sister whom we visit as often as possible.
We enjoy hosting holidays together so we can see each other’s families. We cook tons of food and desserts while the girls play dress up and the boys play video games or watch TV. Our house is noisy and full of laughter, and our dinner table is always filled with family and friends that we call our family. We also enjoy vacationing together to laugh, relax, enjoy one another, and build more memories. Some of our favorite spots so far have been to Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Canada.
Together we have three nieces, one nephew, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. We have plenty of room and love for more children. Our families couldn’t be more excited for us, and our daughter will be the best big sister a child could ask for.
What Led Us To Adoption
Very early on in our relationship, we knew we wanted a large family. We have so much love, energy, and excitement and a deep desire for children. Adoption has always been a desire of ours as we both have special family members in our lives who were adopted, and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them in it. Michelle’s mother was adopted, so she’s always had a special place in her heart for adoption. We are very thankful for the opportunities we have and can give to a child.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
