dear expectant mother

One line from our family’s favorite television show sums up the love and grace in our home: “Love is not an emotion. Love is a promise.” This promise of love is something we can offer you. First, thank you for even considering to bless with our family with the responsibility of raising your precious baby. We will raise strong, independent, intelligent children so they can grow into good men and women.

We cannot wait to lay in bed and read books at bedtime. We have already bought a copy of our favorite bedtime book, and we have placed it in the room we have for the baby. As your baby grows, we’re excited to take them with us to church and watch your child's faith grow. Since Jamie loves to bake, she cannot wait for the bake sales, where we can proudly display the cookies we bake together. We are eager to share in playtime, board games, and singing and dancing to the radio. Of all the things we know, we know that our family is built on love. And no matter what, your baby will always, always be loved by us.

About Us

We met in the way all couples meet today: online. From the first date, we have been inseparable, and we knew from the beginning it was a lasting love match. We eagerly spend time together and with family and make sure every day is important. Jamie is an attorney, and Michael is a CPA attending law school. Jamie has three beautiful boys from before she met Michael. Michael is a kind and loving husband and step-father to Jamie and the boys, and Jamie is a dedicated and hardworking wife and mother that gives everything she has to make those around her feel loved.

We have known from the beginning that our family was not complete and that we wanted to adopt a beautiful baby.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a four-bedroom, two-story home on an isolated street in one of the most sought-after school districts in Texas. Every single afternoon, the street is crowded with children playing outside, and the sound of their fun is heartwarming. Summers in our home are spent swimming in the pool, watching movies outside, and grilling for the family and neighborhood children. Our neighborhood is overflowing with parks, baseball fields, ponds for fishing, and trails for hiking and bike riding. Our hometown was recently named the Best City to Raise a Family, and we cannot wait to raise our baby here.

Our Extended Family

Michael’s family is large, and Jamie’s family is a bit smaller. Family is the most important part of our lives, and all of our family is extremely close. Everyone knows we’re eager to adopt, and the family could not be happier.

Our favorite holiday is Christmas, and Jamie always starts the Christmas season early; decorations always start around Halloween! To say that she is a little obsessed with Christmas is an understatement, but it makes the family extremely happy. The boys love all the decorations, and they eagerly await the time spent together decorating, baking, and singing Christmas carols.

Besides all the baking, cooking, and gifts, our families have taught us the real reason for celebrating Christmas: we are celebrating the birth of Christ. We have an advent wreath, where we have weekly devotionals. We also purchase and pack multiple holiday meals for those in need. Our favorite holiday tradition is the Angel Tree and Silver Bells: every member of the family takes one Angel Tree and Silver Bell and fulfills their Christmas wishes with presents. We cannot wait to share these traditions with a precious new family member.

What Led Us To Adoption

Because of a necessary surgery, Jamie is no longer capable of having biological children, but that fact has never concerned Michael. We have always known that adoption is a love greater than matching DNA or blood type. We have seen the love of adoption first hand: Michael’s older brother has eight children, four of whom were adopted. In total, Michael’s younger brother has been a foster parent for more than ten beautiful children. In our hearts and in the hearts of our family and friends, there is absolutely no difference in the love for any of these children.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
