We know you are considering helping a deserving family in need, which is the most wonderful gift you can give. We understand picking a family for your child is a hard decision, and we appreciate you considering us for your child’s family.
We have always had the dream of becoming a mom and dad but never knew it would be this hard to obtain. Thankfully, there are lovely people such as yourself who can help us obtain our dream of raising a child. We are positive people with hopes that a child will join our family soon. Family is the most important aspect of our lives, and we are excitingly waiting to add a little bundle of joy into our lives. We will cherish and love your child endlessly if you choose us. Everyday we will do our best to give your child extra love, guidance, motivation, education, and fun times with many memories.
We enjoy the simple things in life, such as loving our family time together and playing with our puppies and soon-to-be child. We want to help our future child grow and learn new things while continuing our family traditions, creating new traditions along the way, and documenting the memories with many photos. We are an open book and willing to share as much of our lives with you as you wish. It’s our hope you will choose us as your child’s family, which would make our dreams come true!

About Us
Our story is unintentionally similar to a cheesy Hallmark movie where opposites attract and make the perfect match. We are definitely the definition of opposites attract and it works perfect for us! Jeff is 6’3” tall, enjoys old action movies, and is Irish and German. Mel is 5’0” short, enjoys comedies, and is mainly Italian and Lithuanian. Jeff is an HVAC Purchasing Manager with office and warehouse responsibilities. Mel works in Human Resources and is approachable, sympathetic, and has a goofy side. We both come home from work to enjoy cooking/grilling dinner and puppy playtime. Weekends are for BBQs, game nights, spending time with family and friends, playing with our puppies, and family trips to the zoo. We enjoy laughing!
Our Home & Pets
Currently our full attention has been on our two puppies while we wait for a child. Rambo and Roxy are a little less than 1.5 years apart in age and have the same birth dad. Both pups love to run and play in our yard together and play in the water. We of course think they are the most beautiful pups in the world!
Our beautiful home with fenced-in yard and playhouse is in Mel’s childhood town, where her parents still live. Jeff grew up in a neighboring town, where his dad still lives. Many of our friends live down the street from us. There are multiple playgrounds within walking distance, great schools close by, and a park district that holds many activities we can’t wait to bring our future child to.
Our Extended Family
We have a caring family who are supportive of our adoption journey. Our friends and their children are so close to us that we consider them a part of our family. Our nieces, nephews, cousins, and godson can’t wait for a new playmate. Jeff is the middle child of three, and his entire family lives in nearby towns. Mel is the youngest child of two, and the majority of her family live in nearby towns, with her father’s extended family in FL, NJ, and PA. We love spending time with our family, including hosting BBQs and game nights.
Many of our traditions include the holidays and birthdays, we make sure to celebrate with everyone. Some of our traditions are trips to the zoo and horse track, family dinners, pizza parties, bowling, Christmas cookies, gingerbread houses, pumpkin patch with petting zoo, carving pumpkins, Jeff’s Halloween/birthday party, and St. Patrick’s Day face-painting and bagpipes. We vacation near Mel’s extended family homes in NJ and PA. Some traditions growing up that we would like to pass down to our children include family road trips, Myrtle Beach summer vacations, lots of theme parks, mini golf, holiday festivals, and park picnics with games (soccer, Frisbee, badminton, basketball, tetherball, tag).
What Led Us To Adoption
During our relationship of 15 years, we have always had the same life goals of buying a house, getting married, adopting a puppy or two, and raising children. We have checked off all the boxes except for raising children. Unfortunately, we are physically not able to birth children, with multiple miscarriages and years of failed IVF treatments. Adoption is the perfect choice for us because we have so much love to give. We’ve created a loving, stable home in preparation for a little one to care for and bond with. We are ready to sacrifice everything and anything to extend our family.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
