dear expectant mother
If there is one thing I want you to know, it is that I have your back. Wherever you are in your life journey, I want you to know I will always be your champion, whether it is to share with the world what an amazing person you are and the great act of love you have committed for considering an adoption plan or to cheer you on and remind you how strong you are as you reach each of your life goals moving forward.
I want to let you in on a secret no one told me. I knew I would love my son when I adopted him, but what nobody told me was that I would feel an overwhelming amount of love for his birthmom as well.
To you and your baby, I promise to love with my entire being, praise often, and teach kindness, generosity, and gratefulness through modeling these in my own actions. I promise to encourage adventure, inspire dreaming big, and instill a love of learning through providing experiences that spark their imagination. My son cannot wait to share his knowledge of science experiments. He will be an amazing guide for digging in the dirt to find the perfect worm or teach your baby to someday serve up the best imaginary ice-cream cone.
It is important that you know how genuine I am in caring about you. You have the support of me, my son, and my entire family! Your baby will be the center of our world.
About Me
I am someone who dreams big and can’t wait to put my imagination to the test. I try to think outside of the box and bring joy to others. My life philosophy is to leave things better than I found them, and that includes people, so I am huge on inspiring others or making sure I always provide a kind word. I value kindness and integrity in myself and others. I am an 8th grade reading specialist, so I often use my optimism to inspire students. I share with them my struggles in junior high to let them know they are smart, have so much to offer, and will make a difference in the world. I love to find beauty in everything around me. It is why I love the beach just as much as I love living in my wooded yard. I love traveling because I enjoy seeing cultures from around the world.
My Home & Pets
I am beyond lucky to have found my home. My four-bedroom house is on two acres surrounded by woods and a pond for kayaking and fishing. I live at the edge of a quiet neighborhood with the kindest neighbors. We invite each other over for swim parties and bonfires and leave surprise gifts for each other. I have an in-ground swimming pool where we spend our summer. I have remodeled most of the rooms myself or with the help of my dad. I built a rock climbing wall in my son’s room with a ninja course hanging from the ceiling, and I painted a “Cat in the Hat” themed bathroom for the kids’ bathroom. I have a chocolate lab that enjoys chasing the deer and turkey through the front yard. My home is in the same school district (top 10% scoring in the state) where I teach.
My Extended Family
My brother and sister-in-law live two miles from me with their two adopted sons (three years old and one year old). My parents live three miles from me on a lakefront property. We have so much fun playing in the lake, fishing, and hanging out at each other’s homes. With my son and two nephews so young, Easter Egg hunts, trick-or-treating, birthday parties, and Christmases are controlled chaos, lots of laughter, and a few tears over sharing and taking turns.
With us all living so close, I often pick up my nephews and take them to the playground or to the toddler tumble gym. Their favorite part is the huge pit of foam blocks to jump in. My parents, brother, and sister-in-law celebrate not only each other in our accomplishments but each of our sons’ birthmoms’ goals and accomplishments as well.
My Adoption Story
Growing up, I was always inspired by the amazing women who selflessly chose to place their child with another family. I was always drawn to documentaries and stories that shared birthmothers’ journeys. Seeing how the love they had for their baby conquered their difficult decision and allowed them to give the greatest gift I can ever imagine encouraged me to find the good in difficult situations. I struggled with my own infertility journey, but I knew raising a family was still a dream that could come true. When I met my son’s birthmom, I was beside myself in awe and love…not only for my son but for her strength and love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
