dear expectant mother
Hello, Momma.
While we may not know you yet, we already love you and are here to support you and your baby—whatever journey you choose. We will never know the enormity of the decision you are considering with adoption. While we know it may be the happiest day of our lives to receive the gift of a child, it’s not lost on us how difficult this may be for you. Our arms are outstretched to give you comfort, and we admire your strength and courage.
We know this will not be the only letter you read, but we hope to share with you details of our life as we know it and what the future may hold for us and your little one if you choose us.
Our village of friends and family are ready to welcome a baby with open arms and open hearts, and we are committed to providing a loving, happy, and safe home for your baby to grow up in. We intend to share with them that they’re a beautiful gift from a most loving mom and that we were chosen by her specially to love, nurture, and raise them. We aim to raise a kind and empathetic child and would be honored and humbled if you chose us. We hope to be able to give them endless opportunity and, most importantly, never-ending love and support. We promise to always put your baby first; to love, care for, and teach them; and to be honest and open all through this journey.
All our love and support,
Meghan, Tyler, and Sam the Beagle
About Us
We have been together since Spring 2009; it feels like forever and also just yesterday. We met at work. Meghan was training at Tyler’s office, and we began dating and quickly fell in love. We have been enjoying married life since Spring 2011. We both work in the optometric world: Tyler as a lab technician and Meghan as a talent acquisition coordinator. We are happy together with the simple things: watching movies, TV, and sports; playing with our dog; or visiting fun places on the coast. Meghan enjoys reading, good music, and quality time with family and friends. Tyler enjoys video games, the occasional round of golf, good music, and projects around the house.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is in North Carolina in a suburban neighborhood. We enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood, letting Sam the Beagle play with his puppy friends on our street, participating in neighborhood yard sales and puppy parades, and getting together with neighbors. While we have a fenced yard, our house has more privacy than most, which backs up to trees with a church and cow farm on the other side. We’re close to our local park and dog park, our local library, and local schools. We have two cities we can easily get to and are about 15 miles from the museums downtown. Being almost centered in the state, it’s only a few hours to the mountains or the beach for long weekends.
Our Extended Family
We are lucky to have our families all in the same state, with just a couple hours at most in between. We both have one sibling—older brothers on both sides. Meghan’s brother lives 14 miles away with his wife and their blended family of three girls and two boys. Tyler’s brother lives at the coast with his wife and their son.
We like to make a long weekend visiting Tyler’s family at the coast as his parents also live there. We enjoy relaxing at the house, eating delicious food, and dipping our toes in the ocean. The vibe is “No Worries, Be Happy.” We visit Meghan’s parents normally once a month or have them come over to our house to visit and spend time with their grand-dog. We also have been able to watch our nephew compete in BMX racing closer to home when Tyler’s brother’s family is in town. It’s so fun to root him on, and he’s so good at it! Meghan’s family likes to take big family trips to Disney World once every year or so, and it’s a magical time for all!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always been interested in adoption, even if we were able to have biological children. We truly believe a family is made with love, not just DNA. We have always wanted to start a family but, like so many couples, are not able to do so naturally. We are excited about raising a baby into a kind soul who is compassionate to all people and understands their life has so much extra love from so many people wanting the best for them. Our best friend was adopted by his father when he was younger, and we know how much he was positively impacted by that journey. We feel it in our hearts that this is the way we’re meant to grow our family and can hardly contain our excitement.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
