dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering us as a possible family and home for your baby. We have wanted to be parents for such a long time now and are excited about growing our family not only with a new baby but, if you are comfortable with it, with you and your family as well.
We look forward to walking to the park with your baby on sunny summer days, meeting up for playdates with our friends and their little one, and playing with our cat Dave together. (Dave is very baby friendly!)
Words cannot express the gratitude we have for you even taking the time to look at our profile.
Megan is a high school science teacher, and Tom works in emergency management. After all these years, Megan is still not entirely sure what Tom does at this job, but she does know their closet at home is filled with fire extinguishers and bottled water. Megan has been teaching in Catholic schools in our large Midwest city for the past 17 years and has been a surrogate mother to many of her students. She is now ready to take on the role of mom for her own child. We are sure years spent getting teenagers’ attention will help her grow into an incredible mother! We are excited to grow our family together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a large Midwestern city in a spacious third-floor condominium. Our residence is on a quiet street and nearby many parks and a library. Our neighborhood is one of the most diverse in the city and very family friendly. We can walk to many coffee shops and restaurants. We also live just two blocks from public transportation and can get downtown in no time. We have one very fluffy, very charming black cat named Dave. Dave’s primary job is to sit in the window sill and protect us from all of the neighborhood birds.
Our Extended Family
Tom is an only child but has a large extended family with many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Megan has two younger brothers and is close with both of them. Megan’s parents have both passed away. Megan’s parents owned a greenhouse when she and her brothers were growing up. Her entire family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins) worked at the greenhouse at some point or another.
Tom’s mom, a retired school teacher is thankfully still with us. When we told our families about our plans to adopt, they were beyond excited for us. Megan’s brothers are both newly married and do not have children yet, so both of our families are ready to spoil our baby as the first grandchild.
What Led Us To Adoption
To us, adoption represents both hope and positive change. We have seen one of Megan’s closest childhood friends achieve his own dream of adopting a child as he has recently adopted a healthy baby boy named James. Also, Tom’s grandfather, Russell, was adopted as a baby by a loving family in Missouri, so we believe Tom would literally not be here today without the influence of adoption in the lives of our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
