dear expectant mother
First, thank you for taking time to read our profile. We can’t imagine what you’re going through and the choices you need to make for yourself and your child. Thank you for considering adoption and blessing a family that is in a similar position as ours.
Should you choose us, your baby will be surrounded by laughter, love, and family. Our biggest hope is that your child will grow up knowing they are supported and encouraged to be the best version of themselves. If you choose us, they will travel the world with us and share in life’s little (and big) wonders. They will grow up knowing you and understanding how you are the loving woman who blessed our family with such a wonderful gift.
We will strive to give them the tools to face all of life’s challenges and help them learn that sometimes you fail, but life is about getting back up. That’s what this journey to a family has been for us: finding the courage to get up and keeping faith that there is a child for us.
Thank you again for learning about us and our journey, and even though we don’t know you, we wish you and your baby nothing but happiness.
About Us
We are Peter and Megan. Our story begins eight years ago in Virginia. We met through mutual friends at an open mic for local musicians. When Peter messaged Megan, we couldn’t stop talking. We quickly realized we had found something amazing in each other. We had a small, beautiful ceremony in Las Vegas, then a large reception with family and friends in Virginia. We’ve been married for four years and learned through our COVID quarantine that not only do we love each other but we like each other too. Peter works for a non-profit and is passionate, intelligent, and fiercely loyal to his family and friends. Megan works for the federal government and is a hard-working, compassionate, and strong woman. Together, we make a formidable couple who are always laughing, caring, and enjoying every moment together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom house in the suburbs of Maryland. The neighborhood has many outdoor activities, including swimming pools, walking paths, wildlife (deer, foxes, and tons of frogs in the summer!), and family-friendly playgrounds. On the weekend, we love to go into the city and watch sporting events, theater, and comedy shows and eat delicious food of all varieties. We have three pets: a Bernedoodle, an Australian shepherd, and a sassy cat. Needless to say, we stay busy! Walks and dog parks are a must for us, so we do a lot of outdoor activities with them. We also have a backyard where we play soccer with our dogs, and surprisingly, the Australian shepherd outscores us most of the time.
Our Extended Family
Our extended families both live within a few hours of us. Whether it’s driving down to Virginia to visit Megan’s parents or Pete’s parents visiting from Pennsylvania, all family visits start in the kitchen with a meal.
Everyone’s love for family meals is why Thanksgiving is the best holiday! We both have fond memories of childhood Thanksgivings surrounded by loved ones. Between listening to hysterical stories told by aunts and uncles and running around with cousins, there was never a boring (or quiet!) moment at Thanksgiving. Now we host Thanksgiving for our friends and families with the hope of creating these memories for our child one day.
Family vacations were big parts of both our childhoods. Megan’s family would take summer trips to the beach, and now her parents have a beach house in South Carolina. Pete’s family would take yearly trips to fun and exotic locations, which we now share together. Our families are excited for us to adopt so we can pass on these traditions.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are unable to have biological children but believe our family will be complete through adoption. We have worked to build a stable life together through achieving successful careers and a thriving support system. Our life together has been very fulfilling, and we want to share that life with a child. We feel adopting a baby is the next path along our journey together. We have a few friends and family members who have been blessed by adoption, and they are a great resource for support and understanding everything that goes into this process.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
