dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for reading our profile and for learning a bit about us. We hope you’ll be able to see the love and opportunities we have to offer your precious little one and be able to feel how badly we want to become parents. Choosing us would make our dreams of growing our family come true.
Considering adoption can’t be an easy decision, and we want you to know how grateful we are that you are considering giving us this opportunity to complete our family. We are so looking forward to meeting your child and welcoming them into the world. But most of all, we are looking forward to loving them and watching them grow up. Not just us but all of our family and friends who have waited for years to love a baby of ours can’t wait to spoil this little bundle of joy.
About Us
We met fifteen years ago through a mutual friend. We were both working hard growing our businesses and building our careers. Nathan owns a trucking company that hauls diesel fuel and gasoline throughout the East Coast. Megan is currently doing math tutoring in a local middle school working part-time and also continues to do personal training, which she has done for 25 years. We both enjoy spending time with our families and friends, traveling, and doing activities in the community. Nathan is an avid golfer and spends a lot of time outdoors on the golf course. Megan can be found doing some kind of physical activity each day.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-level brick home on a two-acre, wooded lot inside a gated golf community. The neighborhood is a nice mix of older families and younger families with young kids. Our community is located in the rolling hills of the mountains, which affords access to many outdoor activities, such as hiking and lakes. Living in a smaller town allows a slower pace of life, where we know our neighbors, and provides a certain sense of comfort and safety. We have an excellent school district with options for both public and private schools. We have two dogs: Huck, a three-year-old King Charles cavalier and our new puppy Beau, who is also a King Charles cavalier.
Our Extended Family
We both are very lucky our families live close by, and we have great relationships with them all. Nathan’s sister and father live in our neighborhood and stop by often to visit. Nathan also plays golf with his father at least once a week. His mother lives close by as well, and he is able to visit with her quite frequently. He loves for her to drop by and bring one of his favorite dishes she fixes.
Megan’s family lives in the area as well. Her mother and stepfather and her father and stepmother all live within 30 minutes of our home. We see them quite often as well at lunch or dinner gatherings. Megan is the oldest of three siblings. Her stepbrother and sister live out of the area, but we see them at the holidays. She is very close with her sister who lives locally with her husband and two children. We all try to get together and visit with each other as often as we can.
What Led Us To Adoption
When we finally decided to pursue having a family, we were met with quite a few bumps in the road. After a few years of not being able to conceive, we decided to reach out to a fertility specialist; unfortunately, we were still unable to get pregnant. Megan felt it has always been her calling to adopt, and now she knows why. Throughout this journey and education process, we have learned from so many of our friends and people in the community who have adopted and have shared their stories with us—those who have adopted privately, overseas, and even with Angel Adoption. Hearing these stories helped us know we were making the right choice with adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
