dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We are honored to be considered as a family for your child. We first want to say we admire your strength and bravery for choosing adoption. We understand this is an incredibly difficult decision and know this isn’t anything you are taking lightly—nor are we.
We can only imagine how difficult it must be to learn about a family in just a few pictures and pages, but we hope you are able to see how much love we share and have to give. We only hope you give us the chance to show it. Given the opportunity, we can promise you we will love your child and raise them to be the best person they can be. Our family is extremely close, and we are all looking forward to sharing holidays, vacations, and game nights with your child. Your baby will be surrounded by positive, loving, and encouraging people. We believe It is most important for us to let our children be who they are and support and encourage that. Through this, we believe they will be able to enjoy and live their best life!
We are so thankful for you taking the time to take a peek into our life to learn about and consider our family. We look forward to building a relationship in whichever way is most comfortable for you. We would be honored to meet you whenever you are ready.
We met when we were 16 years old through mutual friends, and we have been inseparable since. We dated for five years before we got married in June of 2009. Mike works as a manager at an aerospace company, and Megan was a cosmetologist before we had our first child in 2011. Then she got to live her dream of being a stay-at-home mom. Family is the most important thing in our lives, and everything we do is centered around our children. We love to go out on adventures hiking outdoors or just staying inside and playing games. Our house in full of fun, giggles, and a ton of love.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a five-bedroom home on one acre in Washington State. We have two dogs, Charlie and Zoe, and a cat named Lola. We have a large backyard with a small wooded area with a trail for exploring and a pirate ship for climbing and swinging. Our street is very safe and quiet. We live within five minutes of aunts, uncles, and grandparents, who love to stop by. We live within 45 minutes of everything exciting, from shopping and exploring to hiking and trails. While farther away, it’s not unusual for us to make weekend trips to the ocean.
Our Extended Family
We both come from loving, close families. Megan’s parents have been happily married for almost 40 years. She has two older sisters whom she is very close with. Mike also has a close relationship with his siblings. We get together often with both sides of our extended families for birthdays, holidays, vacations, and game nights.
One of our favorite things to do with our extended family is trick or treating with both sides of our family in a group. When the kids are so tired they can’t go any longer, we stop at Denny’s for a late dinner before heading home. While Halloween is one of our favorites, Christmas is definitely our favorite. We usually host Christmas Eve with Mike’s family in the morning. We have a breakfast and exchange gifts. Later, in the evening, Megan’s family comes over for a turkey dinner, gift exchange, games, and sometimes movies.
Our extended family and friends are just as excited as we are to add more children to our home. They cannot wait to watch our family grow and enjoy fun times while making memories with another baby.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both always knew we wanted a big family. Becoming parents was and is the most important goal in our life. We struggled with infertility while trying to have our first daughter. Through IVF, we were able to become pregnant. While we felt super blessed to have our daughter, we knew we wanted to have more children. Four years after our daughter was born, we welcomed a three-pound baby girl into our home through foster care. We were lucky enough to be able to adopt her. Adoption is special to us; without it, we would be missing an important person in our lives. We cannot wait to adopt another child and to love them, nurture them, and raise them into an amazing person.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
