We want you to know we believe you are an amazing example of what a person should strive to be. You are a beautiful and loving human being who must be filled with compassion. We would like to extend our deepest admiration to you for what must be the most difficult of decisions, and we thank you for considering us for the opportunity to raise your beautiful child. We will be loving and caring as parents, but we will also teach morals and principles so we can ensure we did our best to raise a good person. Your child will be loved!

About Us
We are a family-oriented couple and hold those we love in the highest regard. We enjoy being outdoors, spending time with our dogs and cat, traveling, going to the beach, and taking road trips. We share a Christian faith and enjoy spending time volunteering for our church. We met in Hawaii 15 years ago and moved back to Jon’s hometown. We have been married for the last two amazing years. Mayumi is very compassionate, empathetic, and kind. She has owned a beauty salon for 10 years and works to help women realize their beauty inside and out. Jonathan is a responsible, thoughtful, and kind man. He is loyal and faithful and would do anything for the people he loves. Jon is a contract specialist.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a three-bedroom house with lots of room for your child to play. We are located at the center of our community, where we have access to restaurants, a museum, and an ice skating rink. There is a park and playgrounds near our home where we can go for some fun. Our neighborhood is very safe, and there are many families with young children for your child to be friends with. We adopted two dogs and a cat, who are all a part of our family. Lulu is a playful Jack Russell with lots of energy, and Einstein is a mixed breed who prefers to cuddle. Bella is a sweet cat who is always asking for treats and to be petted.
Our Extended Family
Our extended families are both very close and very supportive of our decision to adopt a child. We love spending time with our families as often as possible. May has one older sister, a niece, and a nephew. Jon is the oldest of three siblings, with a younger brother and a younger sister. Our parents are excited to add children to our family and are excited about the thought of being grandparents.
Mayumi is from Japan, where her extended family lives. May is constantly on the phone or sharing photos with her mom, sister, and niece and nephew while catching up on everyone’s recent activities. We travel to Japan once a year to visit, and we are excited to bring a child with us. Our child will be surrounded by the Japanese culture and will develop a great perspective due to these experiences. Jon’s family gathers together during the holidays, and Jon is also active in planning an annual family reunion during the summer. It is usually at a beautiful park where we play volleyball and grill. Birthdays are a big deal for our families also, with lots of presents and food.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are very excited and happy about adopting a child, which would be a wonderful opportunity to love and guide another beautiful soul. We have talked about having children, but we have had infertility issues in the past and are unfortunately no longer able to have a child naturally. After praying for this opportunity, we have faith this process is being guided by a higher power, and we will respect and honor this opportunity as the blessing it is.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
