dear expectant mother
We are Matt and Sarah, and we are very excited to be writing this letter to you! Thank you for taking the time to let us share a little bit about ourselves and our dream of expanding our family through adoption again. We have so much love in our hearts to give.
We understand the uncertainty of entrusting your child to a couple you have never met. Thank you for your strength and courage in this decision. Please know we will raise your child as our own, as an irrefutable member of our family. We promise to love them, unconditionally. They will have a strong support system through us and our extended family, and they will have the comfort and companionship of a sibling who was adopted by us, as well.
We value education and believe raising a child with strong character and positive self-esteem is of the utmost importance. Your child will be raised in a home with strong values, and your child will grow up in an environment filled with love and support so they can have every opportunity to become the best they can be and live a happy and fulfilled life.
We have been together for 12 years and married for ten. We met at a Breast Cancer Fundraiser, and to this day, we both continue to enjoy participating and volunteering in various community service events. Sarah holds a master’s degree in education, with a focus in special education and teaching and learning. She teaches fifth and sixth grade students with autism in a special education classroom setting. Matt is an Air Force veteran and holds a Journeyman Lineman Certificate. He now owns his own utility company. In 2014, we became parents when we adopted our daughter, Madison. She is a wonderful, happy, kind, and confident little girl. Together, we enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors on the lake at the family cabin. We are excited to expand our family through adoption again!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a newly built, single-family, two-story home in a wonderful suburb in Illinois. Much of our time is spent in the backyard as a family, which also includes our three dogs, Mia, Zoey, and Bentley. All of our dogs are kid-friendly and love playing hide and seek with our daughter. Our neighborhood has many families with young children, and we have several parks within walking distance as well as a neighborhood splash pad and baseball field. The nearby forest preserves provide us with many opportunities to be up close with nature, too, and we have a koi pond in our backyard that attracts many frogs, birds, and other wildlife.
Our Extended Family
We are very blessed to both come from wonderful, supporting families. Sarah’s mom still lives in the family home, where she grew up with her two brothers and sister. Matt’s dad, sister, step-mom, and two step-sisters live in a nearby suburb. His grandma and grandpa are also close. Both of our immediate families are continuing to grow: we have a total of six nephews, which we see regularly.
The holiday season is busy and our most favorite time of year, because it means spending memorable time with both our families. We love doing Christmas with our matching pajamas, and on the Fourth of July we go all-out for the annual barbecue with family and friends!
Our Adoption Story
We were led to adoption as a way to fulfill our desire and dream of becoming parents. After several failed infertility treatments, we made the amazing and life-changing decision to pursue adoption, and we adopted our daughter, Madison, in 2014. We are returning to the adoption process to expand our family and share our unconditional love with another child. As a family, we are so excited about our decision to adopt again!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
