dear expectant mother

If you are looking at our profile, we know you must be a strong woman who will do anything for your child. To us, that is the greatest act of love. Please find comfort in knowing we will also sacrifice and do anything in our power for your child to ensure that they will have the best life possible. We have both been sent on a journey, and the crossing of our paths is the most important and hopeful moment for us.

When we adopted Ruby four years ago, it was such a special experience, and we cannot wait to do it again! Ruby is overjoyed with the thought of having a brother or sister, and she is so excited for them to be part of our family. While we know we can provide a life of possibilities and opportunities for your child, most importantly we dream of your child joining our family to share in the overflowing love, support, and fun that we have. If your heart is going through an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top. Please know that we will be waiting there with open arms and tons of love in our hearts.

About Us

Our names are Matt and Hannah. We met early in life: Matt was the boy who sat behind Hannah in Spanish class, and Hannah was the fun-loving girl of Matt's dreams. You could call us “high school sweethearts,” but our “friend” status turned serious during our college years. We have now been married for 15 years, and we are so grateful for the strong relationship that we have. We have pushed each other to be educated, successful, and to keep God as a central focus in our lives. We enjoy spending time with our daughter, Ruby, and with family and friends. At home, we enjoy cooking, dancing, and movie nights. We love to travel to visit our out-of-state siblings and to take international trips, as well! We look forward to the day we can share our trips, activities, and love with your child, too.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a three-bedroom house on a large corner lot. The neighborhood has walking paths, a soccer field, and a large park for kids. We have a big fenced-in yard and a patio where we enjoy grilling and growing a garden. We are also fortunate enough to have a vacation home located between two large lakes in Wisconsin. It’s perfect for making memories, enjoying water sports, swimming, and evenings around the campfire. Both homes were purchased with family in mind, so you can bet both are gathering places for the whole clan.

Our Extended Family

Hannah’s family, including herself and her two brothers and three sisters, grew up in a small town in Illinois, most-known for its annual world-famous Sweet Corn Festival! Matt’s family grew up in an even smaller town in Illinois that consisted of a rich Italian heritage. He has two adopted sisters.

Growing up, we had great families and great childhoods. We would like nothing more than to offer that same type of life to your child. We were both educated in private Catholic schools, as education is a very important tradition to both of our families. In addition to education, we also believe being involved in extracurricular activities and maintaining a faith-filled life is also important. We both come from two large very close-knit families that enjoy getting together for every holiday, enjoying sports, dancing, and outdoor activities. We are so excited to welcome another member to the fun!

Our Adoption Story

We have always wanted children. However, for several years we experienced the heartache of infertility and felt God lead our hearts to adoption. Adoption has always been in our lives, as Matt’s two sisters are adopted, Hannah’s cousin is adopted, and some of our close friends have also adopted. Four years ago, we adopted Ruby, and she has been a complete joy in our lives. Now, we have so much love in our hearts we’ve decided we would love nothing more than to share it with another child. Adoption is a gift, and we are so excited to once again embark on this wonderful journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
