We want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn about who we are. We would be honored to be considered as adoptive parents for your child. By learning a little about us, we hope to reassure you that, if you choose us, your child will be raised in a loving, nurturing environment.
It’s difficult for us to put into words how much we truly respect your strength, courage, and your selflessness. We cannot say that we know exactly what you are feeling as you consider the most loving, sacrificial decision one can make. You are likely feeling many different emotions. What we can tell you is that, if you choose us, we will be there to support you the best that we can and we will pray for you.
If you choose us as adoptive parents, we will remind your child often of the unconditional love you have for him or her. Your child will always know who you are and the sacrifices you made for him or her. Your child's needs and dreams will always be made a priority. Parenting is a life-long journey and we have the greatest desire to raise a child who will never question how loved he or she is. If you choose us, we will always guide and support your child as they grow and mature.
We are Matthew and Erin! We initially found each other through our love of hockey. Our relationship grew as we learned of our shared faith in God. Matthew proposed privately, just the two of us, along the beach at our favorite vacation spot in Mexico. We married just over a year later, surrounded by God’s love, our family, and friends. We are committed to open, honest communication, and respect for one another. It is important to us that we have a stable, loving marriage in which we can build a family around. On a typical summer day, you can find us outside, either out on the golf course, at the racetrack, or in our backyard grilling. We are a pretty simple couple. We don’t need to go out and do anything extravagant to enjoy each other’s company. We are just as happy spending time together in our pajamas watching a movie.
Our Home & Pets
We recently relocated back to the town where we met, close to our family and friends. We purchased our home with our future family in mind, in a close-knit neighborhood with a large yard. It’s a cozy four-bedroom, three-bath home with a large kitchen and family room that we love to entertain in. The backyard has a large playset nestled in a big sandbox. We are huge animal lovers. We have two small dogs, Toby, who is a Yorkie/Maltese mix, and our newest addition, Bauer, who is a Boston Terrier. We also have two cats, Fiona and Illy.
Our Extended Family
We are blessed to have so much love and support from our family and friends that will surround a child. The biggest commonality between our two families is the love for sports, especially our local teams. Matthew’s parents live close by. Matthew has one younger brother. Erin’s parents are a couple hours away in a bordering state. She has two sisters and three brothers who all live within an hour away. We are both very close to our parents and siblings, and they are all so excited to welcome a new little one into the family.
We also have a small, close group of friends who we consider family, and who have children that we love dearly. These friends are our extended family. Their love is unconditional and their support is never-ending.
We have a wonderfully supportive church family as well. The pastor, his wife, and three young children live two houses down from us, so we are able to get together often. We have a great relationship with them.
What Led Us To Adoption
God has placed adoption on our hearts, and we are so excited to start our family. Before we met, adoption was placed on our hearts as individuals, and once together, it became a mutual vision for building a family. We have been unable to have biological children and we plan to forgo pursuing treatments or testing. We have a huge desire to be parents, regardless of how a child comes to us. We truly believe that God's plan for us is to love an adopted child, which is why adoption was put on our hearts so long ago.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
