dear expectant mother
We understand this can’t be the easiest time for you, and we completely understand you must be going through a wide range of emotions right now. We want to reassure you we are so ready to provide your child the best life we possibly can, if you would consider giving us the gift of trusting us with their future.
We are so ready to take your child with us around the world. We are so ready to sit your baby on our lap and show them how to play the piano. We are so ready to teach your child music, math, science, three or four languages, and how to salsa dance. We are so ready to introduce your baby to our families and to celebrate their first Christmas. We are so ready to make tamales with your child in the days before Three Kings Day. But most importantly, we are so ready to give your child the love they deserve.
Thank you so much for your selflessness and for possibly entrusting us with your baby. You would be making something otherwise impossible for two loving dads a real possibility.
Matt and Andrew
Matt is a mathematician at one of America’s national laboratories. Andrew is a social worker by trade, but he now lobbies D.C. politicians to help promote the welfare of homeless children and youth. We think very differently from one another, but we complement each other perfectly. We enjoy traveling and exploring the world together, going for long hikes in nature, eating new foods, laughing together, and loving.
We live in the suburbs of a large Midwestern city, in a neighborhood full of playgrounds and parks that are great for playdates and exploring nature as a family. We have a four-bedroom house with a finished basement (the perfect place for a playroom) and a beautiful backyard with a garden and a fenced lawn to play in during the warmer months.
Our Extended Family
Andrew comes from a huge extended family. There are usually hundreds of people at family reunions! Andrew’s family is Latino, and we enjoy all the typical Latin traditions when we’re all together with tons of Spanish food, music, and games. One of our favorite traditions is making tamales before any big get-together. It usually takes a couple days! We can’t wait to have Andrew’s mom teach your baby how to make the perfect tamale. Our home is bilingual, and we will raise your baby with both American and Latin traditions.
Matt’s family is a bit smaller. Matt is half-Italian and celebrates the Feast of Seven Fishes every Christmas Eve with that side of the family. It will bring Matt’s family so much happiness to have a new bambino at the table! We both love Christmas, and Christmas with Matt’s family has become an annual tradition. We can’t wait for the baby’s first Christmas!
Since we got married, annual vacations to the Outer Banks, NC, have become a joint family tradition. We are so excited to bring your baby to the ocean and play in the sand for the first time!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have both been lucky enough to see adoption work. Andrew’s aunt was adopted as a baby by Andrew’s grandmother after an earthquake in Guatemala, and she has always been loved like any other family member. Also, as a social worker, Andrew saw many children adopted out of the child welfare system into loving families. Matt grew up with a family friend who adopted a baby girl, and Matt got to see the joy this family felt. That joy was indistinguishable from the happiness felt by biological parents.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
