dear expectant mother
We are extremely thankful and honored you have taken the time to get to know us. You are so brave, and we admire your strength to create an adoption plan. We would feel blessed to be considered as parents for your sweet baby and cannot put into words the love we will have for him or her. Our boys, Dylan and Brody, are ecstatic to share their lives with a new sibling. We assure you your baby will be loved unconditionally from the moment we meet.
Our life as a family is full of love and laughter. We spend a lot of time playing games, going on fun outdoor adventures, and staying active together as a family. We are always exploring a new park, restaurant, or ice cream parlor. We love to ride bikes, jump on the trampoline, and roast marshmallows by the fire. We promise to provide a beautiful life for your baby and will support any amount of openness you prefer.
As parents, we are a team. We have been together for over 10 years, and family is our top priority. We value a strong education and understand the importance of family and friends. Your baby will have endless love and support from us as parents as well as our entire family. We would be honored to be chosen as parents for your baby and look forward to walking this journey together.
We are Mattie and Marty! We met 10 years ago through mutual friends. We both enjoyed boating at the river, and our relationship grew from there. We welcomed our first son in 2012, bought a house, and got a puppy—all within three months! We were married in 2016 in our hometown and welcomed our second son the same year. Mattie works as a nurse practitioner in oncology/hematology and adores her patients. Marty works as a journeyman lineman for a local utility company. We love being outdoors, boating, bicycle rides, traveling, going out to dinner, and spending time with family. We spend a lot of time cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. Our two little boys are the light of our lives, and we cannot wait to add another child to our family through the miracle of adoption.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, five-bath home in Iowa with our two sons. We are surrounded by bike trails, great neighbors, and amazing schools. We have a park across the street and a big yard for our children to play in. Our town has lots of fun events, including outdoor movie nights and concerts throughout the year. We are also close to a river and enjoy spending summer days boating with family and friends. We share our home with two dogs, Louie and Lexi, who adore children and would love a new baby to spoil with kisses.
Our Extended Family
We feel blessed to share close relationships with both sides of our family. Our families are extremely supportive and excited about our decision to adopt. We love getting together for dinner, taking trips, playing outside, and celebrating holidays. We see both sides of our family often, and our parents are extremely involved in our lives. Our boys love spending time with their grandparents.
Mattie has one sister who lives a few houses away with her two boys and husband. Our families get together often for play dates. Our boys and their cousins are close in age and attend the same school. Mattie’s parents live only a few miles away in the same town. As a family, we take frequent trips to our family cabin in Minnesota during the summertime, which is a favorite family tradition.
Marty has one brother who lives 30 minutes away with his wife and three children. We are very close with our nephews, niece, and great-niece and get together often for birthdays, holidays, and dinners throughout the year. Marty’s parents live less than a mile away in the country, and we enjoy family dinners with them every Monday night.
What Led Us To Adoption
From the beginning of our relationship, we both knew we wanted to be parents. After two extremely difficult pregnancies, one resulting in a premature birth and the other resulting in the loss of our daughter, we began exploring different options to grow our family. We both knew we wanted more children but felt another pregnancy would not be a safe option. We decided to learn more about the exciting journey of adoption instead. We were absolutely amazed by the strength of birth moms and adoptive families and made the decision to move forward with growing our family through adoption. We feel adoption is such a blessing and are so excited to share our love with another child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
