dear expectant mother
We would like to thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child. We feel very fortunate, and if chosen to raise a child in our home, we will take our role as parents very seriously. It would be an honor to be parents, and we will always strive to be intentional, loving, accepting, and patient. We will do our best to celebrate our child’s unique abilities and show them the wonderful things the world has to offer. In our home, we value education, self-respect, and kindness. We are excited to introduce your child to sports, the arts, and nature while always encouraging them to try new things.
We plan to have them with us as much as we can and cannot wait for family walks with the dogs, movie nights, and vacations. We both come from loving families that will be a constant support and encouragement to us as a family. Your child will always feel rich in love and will be surrounded by lots of cousins, aunts and uncles, and close friends.
We both have very stable careers and feel we are in a great place in life. We enjoy even the smallest things we get to do together and cannot wait to add another person to our family.
When we met five years ago, we were immediately convinced we were meant for each other. We are best friends and are amazed by how much we have in common. We love the outdoors, and living in Colorado is perfect for us to hike, run, and walk our dogs. On weekends, you will most likely find us working in the yard if we aren’t hiking a nearby trail. We are both fortunate to work from home. Jen works as an online school counselor, and Martina is a social worker. We are so happy to know once we have a baby, he or she will always be with us. We travel to visit family quite often and look forward to the adventure of doing that with a little one. We also plan to be parents who will introduce our baby to everything we enjoy in life.
Our Home & Pets
We bought a new home last October with the intention of having a little one join us soon. Our four-bedroom, historic home is centrally located and one block away from a great elementary school. We often take walks by the school to imagine what it will feel like to be parents. Our home has plenty of room inside and out for kids to play. We’re surrounded by lots of parks, and the Colorado sunshine makes it easy to be outside quite a bit. Our neighborhood is filled with families with young kids and dogs. We have a private and fenced-in backyard our dogs love. The neighborhood is quiet, and we are happy to have a spacious home because we love to entertain.
Our Extended Family
We have extended family in both Colorado and Michigan, which makes family traditions so fun! In Colorado, we get to see our family more often at birthday parties and family dinners, about once a month. Jen and her dad are very close. He visits all the time and is very excited about having his first grandchild.
Both of us have family in Michigan, so we are there about four times a year. We make it to at least one Great Lake each summer. We also love going to sporting events whenever we are in the Midwest. Martina’s parents have a huge backyard where we spend lots of time on our visits. They are thrilled about having a second grandchild and plan to visit Colorado a lot more once he or she is here.
We feel it is also important to mention our wonderful group of friends, who are like family to us. We met most of these friends from the running community and often celebrate birthdays and special events together. They are a positive, fun-loving group of people we feel so fortunate to have in our lives.
What Led Us To Adoption
We think our adoption journey has been divine. We had been discussing growing our family when we connected with some close friends who adopted their daughter. To watch their family in action was inspiring. The love and connection their family showed encouraged us to make adoption our first choice. We feel very lucky to have the chance to adopt a newborn, not to mention we both have families that are ecstatic about the idea. In fact, this will not be the first adopted child in our family. Martina has two adopted sisters. We have experienced adoption firsthand and know our family has a lot of love to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
