dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We cannot imagine all the feelings and questions you might have. But know that we are already praying for you and your baby. Even should you not choose us as to raise and love your child, we are inspired by your courage and we are also praying that you find peace in your decision. We are so grateful that you are considering.

If you choose us as adoptive parents, we promise to always honor you by making sure your baby has unconditional love and support while we guide him or her through life’s peaks and valleys. If you choose us, we are excited to show your baby the traditions we had as kids, including picnics at the zoo, yearly trips to the pumpkin patch, church on Sunday’s, family vacations to Disney World, and picking out a fresh Christmas tree every year. But we also know the small things are equally important, such as snuggling at bedtime, reading books, watching movies, and playing board games.

We know this is a difficult choice and we want to make sure that you are fully comfortable in making the decision to choose us. We can answer any questions you might have. Thank you so much for reading our profile and getting to know us.

About Us

We have so much in common but also many differences that complement. Mark was born and raised on a farm and will tell you faith, family, fishing, and football are most important. Jaime was raised in a city in the Midwest by a single mom who taught her to be hardworking, compassionate, and to never take anything for granted. She loves cooking, gardening, reading, and would probably never turn down a chance to sing karaoke. Both of us work from home and are medical sales representatives. Working from home gives us the ability to have flexible schedules and allows us to do fun things with a child, such as walking to school, having lunch together, and helping with homework. We love to do family movie/game nights and to go on family vacations. We LOVE all things holiday, so carving pumpkins and picking out the annual Christmas tree is “kind of a big deal.”

Our Home & Pets

We live in a Midwestern, suburban neighborhood in a six-bedroom three-and-a-half-bathroom house in a cul-de-sac that backs up to a sixteen-acre park. The park has three lakes, a walking trail, and a “really fun playground” (according to our two-year-old niece). We have a very large backyard with a vegetable garden. The school system here is wonderful. It is ranked in the top seven percent nationally, and the elementary school is just two blocks away.

Having said all that, what really makes our house a home is us our family and traditions. In our living room, we have two large, oversized chairs which we call “snugglers.” Everyone is always welcome. Our pets also bring a lot of love and enjoyment. Hailey is our English Bulldog and Chloe is our cat. They kind of have a “Garfield and Odie” relationship, but they secretly love each other.

Our Extended Family

Our family is more important to us than anything! So we appreciate you taking the time to learn a little bit more about them.

Jaime is an only child and her dad passed away just after she graduated from college, but she comes from a very large, supportive family of 29 aunts and uncles and 44 first cousins. She and her mom are very close, and she is very excited to be called “Grandma.”
Mark grew up on a farm with his sister who is married with two children. They live just about ten minutes away. We are very close with them and their two daughters. We get together as often as we can to have dinner, watch a movie, or just hang out. Mark’s parents are loving, hard-working, and are always so supportive.

Mark has two children from his previous marriage: Luke (21) and Taylor (18). Our blended family has been such a blessing. We have so much fun together and Luke and Taylor were our Best Man and Maid of Honor in our wedding. We have gone on countless vacations, dried tears when necessary, and have had so much fun watching them grow into the adults we are so proud of.

What Led Us To Adoption

“I set out on a narrow way many years ago, hoping I would find true love along the broken road.” Ours is a story of two people who through difficulty and disappointment in our previous marriages, found each other in our own, real-life fairytale. That was six years ago, and ever since, we’ve wanted to have a child of our own to love and raise together. But because of infertility problems, we have not been able to do so. It became very clear to us that this is all a part of a grander plan and adoption was our answer. We have so much love to give and are hoping you will consider us and bless us with a baby, making our “fairytale” complete.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
