Dear Birthmom

We would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and considering us as adoptive parents. We know you’re going through so much right now, and we admire the strength and courage you’ve shown by considering a family to raise and love your child.

Our home is a happy, laughter-filled place where family and friends are always welcome for dinner, to play in our pool, or to sit on the porch and talk. We have a great group of friends and two amazing families who are our biggest supporters. Our families are eager to love, play with, and celebrate holidays with the little boy or girl we bring home.

We are very excited to be parents, and we understand the responsibilities involved. We also understand the definition of unconditional love. Please know that, if you choose us as adoptive parents, you can wake up everyday knowing that the love we have for your precious child will be without any strings attached. Know that we will provide a supportive home that is stable and healthy. Know that we will flood his or her little human soul with so many wonderful experiences. Know that we will always provide a home in which he or she will be loved, supported, and nurtured. Also, if you choose us, your child will always know where he or she came from. We will offer the space (however you define it) to let your child know how much you love him or her. It would be a privilege and honor to parent your child.

We wish you all the best in your pregnancy, and we would welcome the opportunity to learn more about you and your hopes for your child. Thank you.

About Us

Our relationship started as a blind date, and we quickly realized what a great match we were for one another. Three years into our relationship, Mark proposed and then ten months later we had the most beautiful Christmas wedding a girl could ask for. We have now been married for over seven wonderful years.

Mark loves playing drums and guitar. Mark is also a huge car enthusiast and is lucky enough to have a very successful career in the automotive industry. Colleen loves animals and spends time volunteering at animal shelters and horse rescues. Colleen recently took a position as a supervisor of the local 911 center.

We both enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family, swimming, biking, attending sporting events, festivals, live theater, movies, and traveling. We have so much to give and want nothing more than to be parents.

Our Home & Pets

We moved to our new home three years ago. We live on a quiet street, with two parks within walking distance. We have the most amazing neighbors we could ask for and love the sense of community in our neighborhood. We have great schools, and our village hosts numerous activities and events for children and families. Our home is spacious and warm, with a large fenced-in backyard, a pool, a butterfly garden, and a vegetable garden. We share our home with three of the most charismatic cats around, Bella, Phoebe, and Willow (who was an anniversary gift from Mark). Our backyard boasts several animals who are always a joy to watch and feed.

Our Extended Family

We are blessed to have two loving and supportive families. Colleen’s parents have been married for over 40 years and are two of the most selfless people we know. Mark’s parents were married for 30 years before the passing of his mother. Both our parents live within a couple miles of our home, so we see one another often. We each have one older sister, and both of them have young children. We are their godparents. Mark’s sister lives in Colorado and Colleen’s sister lives in the neighboring town. We spend a great deal of time with them. We have several family traditions we enjoy doing together throughout the year, such as Easter egg hunts, local parades and festivals, apple picking, trick-or-treating, and driving around looking at Christmas lights (just to name a few). Family is everything to us. Our families have been extremely supportive of our journey to grow our family and we cannot wait to meet the little boy or girl we bring home.

What Led Us To Adoption

Even when dating, we always knew we wanted to have children. Once married we immediately tried to get pregnant. Unfortunately, even with the help of doctors, we were unsuccessful. Infertility had changed us, but not in the way some might think. It made us better people. It taught us what true strength, resilience, and commitment are. But most of all, we realized that our dream was to become parents, not necessarily through pregnancy. It doesn’t matter how we get there. We wholeheartedly believe this is the path God intends for us and we are so excited about the future.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
