We want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile. You must be a very loving and caring person to think about what is best for you and your baby. We admire you for being so courageous in the decision of adoption. Being parents is the greatest gift God has given us. We are thrilled to have this opportunity again because of your decision to adopt. Our gratefulness to you for making such a brave decision will never end.
We would love to share this experience with you by keeping in touch through letters and photos. As you are giving us the gift of being parents, we want to give you the gift of staying up to date as he or she grows. Even though we’ve never met, we love you for sharing this wonderful experience with us.
Each minute we will be anxiously waiting, hoping, and praying for the phone call to come that we have been chosen to be parents again. We will be so grateful to you for giving us that opportunity and words cannot express enough how thankful we are to you.
We are a loving couple that enjoys a home full of children. We met when we were kids; Mark would spend summers in Pennsylvania at his grandmothers so we could see each other. As we grew, we went our separate ways, but after 25 years God brought us back together and it has been like we’ve never been apart. We have an 8 and 9-year-old daughter, who are actually are our nieces that live with us and are permanent members of our family. Mark is retired and is a stay at home father. Cheryl has been a nurse since 1995 and enjoys caring for patients. We both enjoy the outdoors, hunting, gardening, and watching our children learn. Mark is super funny and able to play multiple musical instruments. Cheryl is compassionate and loving, putting others needs before her own. We want to adopt so that we can have a child that is ours together, to raise and love. We are able to provide a loving, caring home that believes that children need to be children. They need to have time to laugh, play, and grow. Our family enjoys the little patter of feet and the little handprints on the walls.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the beautiful scenes of Virginia in a ranch style home with a nursery that is decorated to suit either a boy or girl and plenty of room for growing children. Our home is child friendly- from the chalkboards on their bedroom walls to the safety devices in place. We own 64 acres of land with a beautiful view and room for children to run and play. We have a bulldog named Willow who loves children and lives inside. Outside we have chickens, ducks, and two red bone hounds.
Our Extended Family
Our family is loving, caring, and closely connected. Together we have 4 children that have been raised and are on their own- the youngest is 21. There are 2 boys and 2 girls. Currently we are raising our 8 & 9 year old nieces as our own. They are very excited to have a baby brother or sister. We are a Christian family that attends church together. We have game nights, family picnics, walks in our 20 acre meadow, camping trips, and school activities.
What Led Us To Adoption
Mark & I were each other’s first love when we were children. We saw each other on summer vacations for about 4 years. Then we went our separate ways, however after 25 years we were able to reconnect and it was like we were never apart. Mark and I agree that a home should always be full of children and family. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons I cannot have additional children. We want to have a baby that we can raise together as our own from birth. This is what led us to the decision about adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
