dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering this life-changing opportunity for us and for looking at our profile. We feel honored you are considering us and would be the happiest family to welcome a second child into our home through the miracle of adoption. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision will be or how you feel, but we admire your bravery and selflessness in exploring an adoption plan. We promise to provide our future child with laughter, love, education, and a warm extended family that will welcome them with loving arms. We promise with every breath in our bodies that we will love your child unconditionally each and every day and always put them first. There will never be a day that goes by when we don’t celebrate the precious life you’ve given us.
Please know that if your child makes a home with us, we will be honored to have him or her as part of our family. We will share all the love, care, and adventure he or she could ever ask for. We are forever grateful and thankful for you considering us and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
From Marissa: Jeremy has admirable determination and drive. His sense of humor can make anybody laugh, and his positive outlook gets us through any challenge. Jeremy’s dedication to his work in international relations demonstrates his passion for helping others. Jeremy’s engaged and calm demeanor has made him an incredible father. The way he can make our daughter laugh uncontrollably or help her calm down with a hug melts my heart.
From Jeremy: Marissa is passionate and adventurous, and she always seeks the good in people. Marissa’s chosen career as a social worker validates the pure genuineness she has to empower and encourage others to reach their fullest potential. Marissa’s natural maternal presence combines her ability to be playful, caring, and responsive. Watching Marissa with our daughter leaves me feeling confident in our future as parents. I can’t imagine another person better suited to welcome another member to our family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful, comfortable home in Kenya. Our home has plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our daughter to play, run around, and explore. Our spacious kitchen is where we bake and cook together as a family, with a warm fireplace where we snuggle up and roast marshmallows on the cooler nights. Most of our afternoons and evenings are spent running around, exploring, and eating in the front and back yards. Our neighborhood is filled with an extremely diverse mix of families with children of all ages. We are only a short drive to wonderful indoor and outdoor markets, forests, parks, restaurants, and even world-famous national parks. We love our community and are confident our family will never run out of things to do.
Our Extended Family
Marissa was born in Illinois. Her mother will always be a teacher, and her father is an entrepreneur who started his own medical sales company. She has two older sisters, who are her best friends and have given her the four greatest nephews a sister could ask for. She considers herself extremely lucky growing up in a supportive, loving home where education and family were strongly emphasized. No matter where we are, we always make it a priority to gather as a family. Whether it’s carving the turkey on Thanksgiving or our annual Mexico trips, we’re always laughing, relaxing, and cooking.
Jeremy was born in Wisconsin. When he was twelve years old, he moved to a tiny island in the Midwest and lived there until college, spending his summers working on boats. His mother works for a social service nonprofit in Wisconsin, and he has three fantastic younger siblings who live in the Midwest. They have given us four wonderful nephews and a niece. Our time together includes hours of laughing, joking, and making fantastic meals. Everyone in the family is incredibly excited to welcome another child to our family.
Our Adoption Story
On a summer night in 2005, we met at a mutual friend’s party, and despite being surrounded by tons of people, we immediately connected and could not stop talking and laughing. We both knew there was an immediate connection, which remains to this day and keeps growing stronger. We have always dreamed of parenting through adoption, and after building a loving, stable, and supportive home together, we adopted our first child in 2018. After seeing how natural and incredible our world was as parents, we have chosen to expand our family with a sibling for our daughter!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
