Dear Expectant Mother,
We realize you are considering a very important decision in your life, and our thoughts are on you and your baby. Starting the adoption journey again really feels like a dream come true. It’s so exciting for us, this miracle of adoption. While our hearts are filled with joy and anticipation, we can’t help but think of your selflessness. We will forever be grateful to you should you choose us.
We are excited about giving a baby a secure home and unconditional love. We desire to give a baby all the love and care he or she needs to thrive and grow. Our goal is to give our future child the best we have to offer. Looking into the future, we see a little one growing up in a complete home with siblings who are loving and doting on them and encouraging every milestone in their new sibling’s life. Then also there are the grandparents who will adore them and the cousins who love the babies and look forward to the time when they can play with them.
God is the center of our home, and our lives revolve around Him. While we teach our children biblical truths and are an example to them, we do not force them to follow the life we’ve chosen. That decision is totally theirs to make. God be with you as you choose what is best for your baby’s life.

About Us
We are Galen and Marilyn. We went to school together when we were young and were friends for a long time when we started dating in 2008. March 7, 2009, was our beautiful wedding day. Galen is a stable yet fun-loving person. He works as a delivery driver for a farm supply store. We rent a farm where we have pigs and sheep we tend together as a family. Galen enjoys agriculture and has approximately 70 acres of farmland. On the side, he raises puppies. Marilyn does not work outside the home. She tends the house, cares for the children, and makes sure the family’s needs are met. She enjoys gardening, canning, and helping Galen around the farm, but most of all, she loves being a wife and mom!
Our Home & Pets
We live in Pennsylvania in a prefab house with a lovely wraparound deck. We have three bedrooms, two baths, a living room, and a kitchen/dining room. We have a spacious yard for children to play in with a swing set, small slide, sandbox, and little playhouse. There is a small barn with a pasture on our property. We keep a couple sheep and two Labrador retrievers there. Along with the dogs, we have several friendly outdoor cats the children love to play with. We have a house on either side of ours and a field across the road. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, and the road is not a busy one. We are glad to have good friendly neighbors. We also enjoy attending church regularly on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. Our church also has its own private school where our children attend.
Our Extended Family
Galen is the oldest boy in his family, with three brothers and three sisters. He also has six nieces and nephews. Marilyn is the oldest girl in her family, with three brothers and one sister. She has ten nieces and nephews. Our siblings and parents all live within forty-five minutes of us except Marilyn’s sister, who lives in Virginia.
Both families are very family oriented and enjoy getting together. We keep in touch often with each other and get together often to celebrate birthdays. Picnics are a highlight of summertime, and in the fall and winter, we look forward to the gift exchange, when the whole family gets together.
Both of our familie love our children and are very supportive of our decision to adopt again. Galens family tends to be calmer whereas Marilyn’s family can be more easily excited.
Our Adoption Story
Having a family has always been one of our dreams. After struggling with infertility for several years, we felt called to adopt. At that time, we decided to foster to adopt. We fostered nine children. Through that, God has blessed our hearts and home with two children: a boy, Salvador, and a girl, Sky. We have relatives and friends who have adopted also, so adoption is not new to us. Both Salvador and Sky love babies and keep begging for another one. They both would like a brother or a sister. We ourselves would like the joy of adding to our family again and are excited about our adoption journey.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
