dear expectant mother

Hi there! First off, let us say we can never understand what you are going through during this difficult process. We greatly admire your courage to even entertain the idea of exploring adoption for your child. We know you have not come to this decision easily or without much deliberation, and we want you to know we are also taking this very seriously.

We would love the opportunity to provide a home and family for your child. We want more than anything to grow our family together by adding a new addition. We so very much enjoy family activities and cannot wait to add another member to our fun family outings, vacations, couch snuggles, and backyard hangouts. We often have family dinners where we all share about our day and enjoy time together after having been apart while at school or work. A new baby would only add to the fun, memories, laughter, and love we all share.

Whether it is your child or another, we simply want to provide unconditional love, emotional and financial support, a safe and stable home, and a good education for a child.

About Us

Hey! We are Rob and Mandi. We met online, fell in love, and got married after dating for about a year and a half. Rob has three kids from a previous marriage: Lainie, Riley, and Jamison. There’s never a dull moment with our three, and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them. Mandi works in the emergency department treating patients. Rob works in manufacturing as an IT analyst. When we’re not working, we love exploring new places through travel. Mandi is a runner and loves to do jigsaw puzzles and bake yummy desserts. Rob enjoys learning new things, watching documentaries, and cooking delicious dinners. We are constantly looking for new activities that are adventurous and allow for family connection. We enjoy going to the beach since we live close by, having bonfires in the backyard, watching movies, playing games, and spending downtime with our dogs.

Our Home & Pets

We own a five-bedroom home in a cozy neighborhood. We love hanging out in our backyard playing cornhole, running through the sprinkler, roasting marshmallows, and just spending time together. We have three dogs: Bo, a miniature schnauzer; Addie, a cairn terrier; and Bailey, a maltese. We love piling on the couch with the kids and dogs to watch a movie and have family time. We live near the beach, and we love venturing there when the weather is nice. We live just outside of a historic city, where we enjoy going downtown, walking by the waterfront, and seeing the sites. We all have healthy appetites, enjoy cooking together, love going to our favorite Mexican joint, and enjoy exploring local parks.

Our Extended Family

Mandi has a cousin who lives 30 minutes away who has two small children who cannot wait to play with their new cousin. Her parents and brother live approximately three hours away, and they are all extremely excited about being grandparents and an uncle again. Mandi has a sister who lives in California with her husband and 10-month old daughter. They are very close, and they talk and text regularly.

Rob has a large family that all lives in Florida. They are also excited about another grandchild and cousin to add to the mix. It is tradition to get the entire clan together around Thanksgiving and Christmas to catch up, spend time together, and just enjoy each other’s company. The whole family does their best to see each other as much as possible throughout the rest of the year, whether that’s venturing to California, Florida, or the Carolinas. They love playing games, traveling, and hiking together.

What Led Us To Adoption

Mandi knew early on in life she wanted to adopt. She was actually starting this process alone when she met Rob. He has a heart for children in general and loves being a daddy. We also sponsor several children in Haiti whom Rob has met on missions trips. It seemed it was meant to be when we fell in love and got married that we could carry out this dream together. Mandi is not able to carry a child biologically, and she so very much wants to experience motherhood. Mandi has a cousin who adopted a young girl, and we have watched her add so much love to their family. It has given us the courage to embark without hesitation on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
