Dear Birthmom

Hello! Luis and I would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to get to know us and considering us to be your child’s adoptive parents. We want to assure you that your baby would be in a very supportive, loving and nourishing home.

While this is one of the most exciting moments in our lives, we know this must be one of the toughest sacrifices you will ever make. We admire and respect you so much and hope to show you we would be able to provide a wonderful home for your baby.

We look forward to getting to know you throughout this journey and will provide all the moral support we can. We promise to be very responsible parents, who will love your baby to the fullest and teach them good morals and values. We appreciate the opportunity to begin building a family together and share all the joys of raising a child into a successful adult.

Thank you again for the wonderful gift you are considering giving us.

About Us

We are Luis and Alfred! We met back in early 2012 (at a Chinese restaurant, of all places!) and have been together ever since. As a couple, our favorite thing to do together is travel. We love exploring new surroundings! We also love going out to eat and cooking together at home. Luis is big into cooking and loves to make dinner for us. He also enjoys sewing and has made beautiful pillow cases and blankets with elaborate designs. Alfred has enjoyed working outside since he was a young boy and currently has 9 flower beds – he loves making the yard bright and colorful.

Luis works for Sprint as a Maintenance Supervisor. He has been there for over 2 years and manages a team of 15 individuals. Alfred works for Anthem/Amerigroup as a Supervisor. We have opposite work schedules, which is great because it means one of us will always be able to stay home with the baby.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a two-story home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a finished basement. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the local elementary and high school. The neighborhood has many families with children of all ages, and they are always playing outside. Also, there is a park 2 blocks away, which many families walk to daily.

We currently share our home with 3 furry children: Toby and Sheyila, both Golden Retrievers, and Bruno, a German shepherd. We love taking them to the nearby park! All three dogs have been around newborns and children their entire lives and are always happy to see Luis’s nephews and nieces when they come over to play. We are proud to say we are confident our pets will love the baby.

Our Extended Family

We are very close to our families and are fortunate they live only 15 minutes from us. Luis has a younger sister and a younger brother; both of whom are married with two children each. Alfred has a stepbrother and a stepsister. Unfortunately, both Luis and Alfred lost their biological mothers; this makes us grateful to be surrounded by family. In addition to our immediate families, we are also proud to say we have a lot of cousins, aunts, and uncles living close by and in surrounding states.

What Led Us To Adoption

What let us to adoption was our desire to be parents. Even though both of us have always been around our family members’ children and have shown them much love, there was a sense that something was still missing. We love children and are so excited to teach our own child new things one day, like how to cook or work on a car. We look forward to passing on our traditions and sharing our different cultures. Once we started researching options, we decided to move forward with adoption to make our wish of a family come true.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
