dear expectant mother

As parents, we know there are so many choices, so many unknowns, and so many questions. We know you are a strong, selfless person, and we want to thank you for considering adoption. We will respect any level of openness you wish to have with your child and will strive to make it possible.

We can promise your child will be in a home surrounded by love, supported every single day, and have a true village. Your child will know the love of God and will grow up in the church. We are committed to allowing them to be exactly who they were meant to be and want to make all their dreams come true. We will hold their best interests at heart and promise to support them in their decisions. We want your child to feel like a valued member of our family and, at the same time, know the bravery and love you have given by telling them your story and answering all questions. If you choose us, your child will be loved unconditionally. Thank you for considering us and looking at our profile!

With Love,
Alex and Liz

About Us

We are two people who love to laugh and are a little bit nerdy. We met online and were connected through our love of reading and traveling. We moved to Florida from Texas two years ago and agree it was the best decision! Alex is logical and caring. He is an engineer and enjoys reading, gardening, and watching Purdue sports. He has built many things and is about to learn how to make a bookshelf. He is also a big fan of vacations, especially cruises. He laughs all the time and is always willing to play with our daughter. Elizabeth (Liz) loves to read, write, and bake! She enjoys baking bread and is currently learning to sew. She just completed our daughter’s Halloween costume and wants to tackle a quilt. She is a former teacher turned homemaker and is goofy, spontaneous, and has a passion for exploring new places.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house in a quiet neighborhood in Florida. We have a spacious backyard for our two Scottish terriers, Boiler and Luna, and we live right next to a local park. We have a very good school in our neighborhood, and our daughter currently attends a nearby preschool at the church two days a week. Boiler and Luna are wonderful with our daughter. They are patient with her in learning how to be around pets, and even play tug-of-war with her. They don't get offended if she pulls their tails or ears. We go on family walks around our neighborhood and love going to the beach, although the dogs can’t stand swimming! They enjoy sitting by the ocean and listening to the waves.

Our Extended Family

Alex has one brother. He and his wife have two daughters who live in Tennessee. We love spoiling each other's children when we visit and have regular video chats. We live very close to Alex’s parents and grandmother and see them often. Alex’s parents are a huge part of our village and are always willing to help. In addition, Alex has lots of extended family that live nearby.

Liz has one brother; they have a very close relationship and speak many times a week. He and his wife are a huge support for our family. Even though they live far away, we take vacations together over the summer and celebrate many holidays. Her brother and most of her family still live in Texas. She is also very close to her aunts and uncles. Her cousins are more like siblings than cousins. Liz has watched them grow and loves to support them through all of their endeavors.

What Led Us To Adoption

The birth of our daughter was a difficult one. Although everything went smoothly with the delivery, Liz was in and out of the hospital for most of the pregnancy. We knew we wanted to grow our family, but it didn’t seem possible to risk another pregnancy. We had talked about adoption in the past, and after agreeing it would be too much for Liz, we decided to explore adoption more seriously. After prayer and lots of discussion, adoption became the best course of action for our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
