dear expectant mother

Life can be hard. We don’t know you yet, but you are in our thoughts and prayers as you determine what the next right thing is for you and your baby. We are so happy you have found Angel Adoptions to help you through this and hope God gives you the strength and comfort you need during this difficult time.

From a young age, we thought hard work and good deeds would lead us to the life we desired. Through challenges, loss, and pain, we have learned there are things out of our control, God has a greater plan, and there is joy beyond the pain. We are so thankful to be in this space where we have the opportunity to grow our family and continue living the life we know we are meant to live.

We hope you feel the love we have for you already, and we welcome whatever relationship you determine is the best fit for you and your child. If today is the day we are given this amazing gift, we cannot wait to envelop your child in even more love and share the story of the love modeled first and foremost by their selfless mother. We cannot wait to share the story of our dreams come true and provide support and encouragement to help them develop their own dreams. We admire you for your optimism and courage as you navigate this course. Thank you!

About Us

We met in college. We floated the river on hot days, Chad grilled dinner, Lisa cleaned his house (five roommates!), and we quickly became best friends. Graduation a year later sent Lisa across the country for work, but we called and visited often. Five years later, Chad told friends it was time to pursue his dream girl, he moved to the same city, and we married three years later. Together, we enjoy travel, sporting events, and time outdoors with our dog, Daphne. As a technical service and operations leader, Chad has learned to leverage his skills in training and process improvement. He is a loyal caretaker whose love for projects has helped turned our house into our home. Lisa is an enthusiastic planner who enjoys hosting and connecting with people. As a creative project manager, Lisa is a coach, helper, and collaborator.

Our Home & Pets

Aside from down-to-earth people and great schools, our city has sporting events, music festivals, parks, zoos, great restaurants, and cute boutiques. Our hometowns aren’t far, but we feel like this is where we really grew up. Here we became young adults with new jobs, built relationships, and watched friends become first-time parents. We bought our home and adopted our dog, Daphne, here. Our home has become the place for barbeques, tailgates, birthday parties, wiffle ball games, and obstacle courses for the kids. Our annual neighborhood party has allowed us to meet and grow to love our neighbors and community. We are so excited for this next phase, when we can bring a little one into the comfort of this place we call home.

Our Extended Family

We both feel blessed to have such amazing families. Chad’s farm-town upbringing instilled in him the value of hard work. Lisa’s childhood in the suburbs taught her to get outside, make friends, and visit family. Most of all, we were always encouraged to pursue our dreams and establish our own traditions.

We enjoy relaxing Sundays with brunch, church, and late afternoon bonfires. Around Thanksgiving, we host friends-giving and begin decorating our house for Christmas. In the winter, we plan a trip or a staycation and get everyone out in the yard with their snow pants for a game of football. Every year for our birthdays and anniversary, we pick a charity we care about to donate to.

Although Chad’s family (parents, two siblings, two in-laws, two nephews, and three nieces) live a few hours away, we visit often, enjoying the quiet time in the country. In the summer, we find a central spot to go camping. Lisa’s parents, sister, and brother-in-law live close, so we meet regularly for dinner, and her parents swing by often to visit their “grand-pup.” We love visiting the family cabin and taking trips to visit her brother, sister-in-law, and niece in Seattle.

What Led Us To Adoption

As we reflect on the last five years of our marriage, we feel so blessed. God has given us time to make strides professionally, grow individually, deepen our relationships, and have amazing, pivotal experiences. Although there aren’t many people in our immediate circles that share our infertility struggles, God has provided us comfort in knowing this is the journey he has mapped out for us. As we navigated this challenging experience, God worked adoption into our minds, and we knew it was the journey we were always meant to take.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
