dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We cannot even begin to imagine the circumstances that have led to this place, but with all of our hearts, we are praying for you. We pray the healing hands of God may guide you to make the best decision for you, your child, and your family, whether that’s to be a parent or to create an adoption plan.
We are so grateful we have this opportunity to tell you about us and our dream of being parents. Please know, if you choose us, your child will always know how much love you have for them and how incredibly brave you were in making this decision. There are no words to express the amount of gratitude and admiration we have for you. We cannot wait to welcome a child into our home. If we are fortunate to be chosen by you, please know that your child will be cared for, will be abundantly loved, and will ALWAYS know your love in making this decision. The courage and strength it must take to consider adoption for your precious child is simply amazing to both of us.
We want you to know the love and respect we feel for you already. We understand you want what is best for your baby, and we pray you will find us to be all that you hope for your child.
May God guide you and your heart through this process.
About Us
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves! We are Lisa and Brian. We both love people! Lisa is a little more outgoing, while Brian is a bit more reserved. You’ll find we are super active and love to be moving and doing activities as a family. Our favorite family outing is the zoo and feeding the giraffes. We’re both veterans and have proudly served our country for over 40 years combined. While LIsa is still serving in a reserve status, Brian has completed his service. We have hearts for service and love our community. Lisa is an avid CrossFitter, and Brian loves the outdoors—fishing, hiking, exploring, you name it! We have three fur babies (dogs) and one little girl at home, who is two years old.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a brick Southern home with four bedrooms, nestled in a large wooded neighborhood. Living in the South allows us to have great weather most of the year for outdoor activities. We are about seven hours from Disney World, where we make yearly family trips. Our home is close to a large lake and many state parks that are perfect for hiking and picnicking. Our three dogs—Onix, Anja, and Lilo—love children and enjoy joining us on outings. Onix is a championship dock jumper and loves the water. Anja is our eldest at 12; she just loves to hang out. Lilo is probably the laziest, sweetest pup you’d ever meet.
Our Extended Family
Lisa has two older brothers. One lives in Washington and one in Pennsylvania. Lisa was extremely close to her dad, who unfortunately passed away in 2001. Lisa’s mom also is in Washington. She and her mom share a very special and wonderful relationship. Lisa’s extended family is huge and mostly located in New York. Her dad was one of 12 siblings, so there are lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brian is one of six children. Most of Brian’s family still live in Michigan, but his mom lives in Arkansas. Brian is very close to his siblings and extended family as well. Family is the cornerstone of our lives. We enjoy taking Brian’s mom on trips to Disney World with us.
We also love family cookouts when the weather is nice. We have special family traditions at Christmastime, where we all open up matching pajamas on Christmas Eve to wear to bed, watch a special Christmas movie, and spend the evening together. We have Brooklyn; she is two and is our granddaughter. We have custody of Brooklyn and share in every moment of joy she brings to us. She is a spunky, independent girl who loves to play with her dogs.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are SUPER excited about the opportunity to adopt a child. We came to the decision to pursue adoption after a long, hard road of IVF and many losses. We have so much love to share with a child, and we pray every day that we will someday become parents together. We admire the courage in making what we know is a very difficult decision. We have friends who have adopted a child, and through them, we have learned a lot about being adoptive parents. We pray for you and your baby that God will fill you with peace in whatever decision you make.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
