dear expectant mother

We cannot begin to imagine the emotions you are going through as you consider an adoption plan. We want you to know how selfless you are to present an opportunity for a family to grow.

We feel so deeply humbled and honored that you are even taking the time to read our story and consider us as an adoptive family for your baby. We want you to know how much respect we have for you, and that because of women like you, families that otherwise wouldn’t be able to have a baby are given a chance to start or grow a family. If you choose us, we want you to know we will love your baby fiercely but also tell them how fiercely you loved them when you chose adoption.

Thank you for providing hope to a family that has in the past felt hopeless. We are excited for all the joys parenthood brings and all the struggles. We will support your baby and provide unconditional love as well as ensure they are aware of their culture, grow them in their personality, and share with them the love their biological mother has for them.

About Us

Phil is a firefighter/paramedic in the city where we reside. He is always smiling, happy, and laughing his signature laugh, which got him the nickname Giggles. Phil has a love for the outdoors. He also has a fishing business on the side. We both love fishing and enjoy spending quality time together out on the boat. Lindsey is a supervisor of social workers and registered nurses at a local company. She is a people person and can talk to anyone. Lindsey also adores the outdoors. She likes to explore new hiking trails while looking for wildlife and enjoying the fresh air. Cooking and eating outside in the summertime and enjoying the fireplace snuggled up with the animals are always a highlight after a long day. We are always singing, dancing, and joking around.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small city in Wisconsin, with lots of parks and green space to walk our two dogs, Nova and Piper. Nova is a shepherd mix, and Piper is a small terrier mix. We also have our cat, Kit Kat, who acts more like a dog than a cat. We have multiple parks we like to go to, including a dog park and a free zoo. There are many great children’s museums nearby as well as an agricultural center and a state park with lots of beautiful forest to explore. We try to get outside every day with our dogs and would love to share our love of adventure and being outside with your baby.

Our Extended Family

Phil has a sister, and Lindsey has two brothers. We have two nieces and two nephews, whom we see often and have over for sleepovers. We both have large extended families with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We are very fortunate to have a great group of friends we think of as family and are both godparents for friends’ kids as well as Lindsey for two of her brothers' children. It is an honor that our friends and family chose us as mentors for their children, and it means a lot to both of us. We also have many close friends who live close by with young children that your baby would be growing up with if you choose us.

Some of the things we like to do with our families is get together for holidays and birthday meals. We also enjoy special traditions with family, like pumpkin picking, apple picking, and an annual watermelon growing competition. We enjoy getting together with family to watch one of our nephews in his sporting events, and we also have a strong tradition of fishing and do that with family any chance we get.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are so excited to have this opportunity to adopt. Lindsey has had two pregnancies throughout her life, both ending in miscarriages. She was diagnosed with PCOS as well as a complete septate uterus, which she recently had a failed surgery on. Lindsey has a brother who was placed for adoption, and her grandfather was adopted as well as Phil’s great-grandmother. It shows how great adoption can be for the child, the parent, and the families they will have. Naturally, adoption seemed like the best fit for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
