dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn more about us. We know you have a difficult decision to make, and we hope learning more about us will give you peace of mind as you consider adoption for your child. Battling infertility for many years has taught us to lean into one another when life gets hard. We are very thankful for each other and take pride in sharing our commitment to each other with our future children.
Adopting a child would be an amazing blessing. We pray every day for a baby, and we are praying for you. If you feel like we would be the perfect parents you’re looking for, we would be honored to meet you and be a part of your life. We promise to love your child, build up their self-esteem, and support them in their interests. When we committed to adoption, we thought not just about a baby but the long-term future. We promise to always honor you, both in the way we talk about you with your child and with others. We want to follow your lead on how open you want the adoption to be. If you desire, we'd love to stay connected by sharing updates and pictures through emailing, talking or texting on the phone, or seeing each other in person. Our gratitude for you will always be present in our home.
We first met in preschool 32 years ago. We started dating in high school and have been together ever since. We got married 13 years ago and have been blessed with a loving marriage. After a long struggle with infertility, we were blessed last year with our first child through adoption. His name is Isaac, and he has been a joy to have in our lives. Alex is an engineer who works with rivers and lakes. Alex’s job is technically challenging but is very flexible and ideal for raising a family. As a little girl, Lindsey played with her toy cash register and dreamed of being the boss. She now manages a large grocery store. Lindsey’s favorite part of her job is the people she gets to work with and all the customers. We enjoy spending time as a family, playing golf, and spending time by the water.
We live in a family-oriented town in Iowa. We have parks, nature trails, and pools close by. We have access to several highly ranked public schools as well as private schools. We live on a quiet street perfect for riding bikes and playing outside. Our house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor. We spend a lot of time on our patio in the backyard.
Our Extended Family
We both grew up in loving homes in rural Iowa. Lindsey has one older sister, and Alex has one younger sister and two younger brothers. We have eleven wonderful nieces and nephews, three on Lindsey’s side and eight on Alex’s. Our families are important to us, and we are close to our siblings, parents, grandparents, and extended family. We often go home to see our family, and they also travel to spend time at our home.
Alex’s parents are farmers, which provides endless entertainment for the little ones. Lindsey’s parents have a big yard and vegetable garden that is great for exploring. Holidays are really special because we all travel to our hometown to see all of our family at once. We spend every summer at Alex’s family’s lake house. We love swimming, waterskiing, tubing, boating, and jet skiing with family. Everyone is excited about our adoption plan and is ready to welcome your child into our family.
Our Adoption Story
Growing up, Lindsey was introduced to adoption when her family’s close friend adopted two children. The beauty Lindsey saw in their family relationships instilled a deep appreciation of adoption. After a seven-year battle with infertility, we began the adoption process. Our adoption journey was long and included three failed adoptions, but we were eventually chosen to adopt our first son, Isaac. The joy he has brought to our lives cannot be measured.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
