About Us

We met through an online dating website in 2012. We both knew it was something special. We both had dogs at the time, and we knew if they got along, then we were meant to be. We spent the following years enjoying our relationship through travel and meeting each other’s families and friends. We decided to tie the knot in the spring of 2015. Since our marriage, our relationship has only strengthened. We enjoy spending time with our families and friends, and we both have been blessed with great careers. Lindsay is a childcare teacher and has a passion for children. Erik is a sales manager and enjoys his career. Erik is a true leader and enjoys showing others his leadership skills. In our spare time, you can find us sitting around a fire, UTV riding, or playing yard games.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a brand new home with four bedrooms. Our neighborhood is new and continuing to build. We are looking forward to meeting many new families. Our community has several parks and trails to go bike riding and walking on. We are not far from major cities in the area, and this makes it easy to go shopping and out to dinner. We live close to both of our jobs as well as our families. We have a corgi/terrier mix dog named Maggie. She is the most loving dog and a delight to be around. Oftentimes you will find her sunbathing in the driveway or being loved on by a neighbor as the center of attention.

Our Extended Family

We are extremely close to both of our families. They could not be more excited about our adoption journey. Our families mean everything to us. We spend a lot of time together as well as holidays, birthdays, and special occasions.

We live close to where Lindsay grew up, and her parents still live in the area, as well as her brother and his family. Every few years Lindsay’s family takes a vacation to a warm destination, and we have a great time enjoying the sun and sand. Erik’s family is spread out. His parents live about an hour from us, and his brother lives about three hours away. When we get together, we have a great time and enjoy each other’s company. Erik’s parents live on the river, and we enjoy going fishing and boating on the water.

Christmastime is big in both of our families. Lindsay’s family gets together with all her cousins, aunts, and uncles and has a large family Christmas party every year. We are anxious and excited to pass on these traditions and many more to our children.

What Led Us To Adoption

We started our journey to become a family about four years ago. After struggling with infertility, we decided God had other plans for us. We both knew God was leading us toward adoption. We know adoption is the path meant for us because we have so much love and support to give. We know we could provide a little one with a loving, caring home and a life full of love, happiness, and fulfillment. We are excited about the opportunity to enrich our lives as well as the life of a beautiful child!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
