dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you so much for considering our family. Although we don’t understand all you are feeling, we can tell you how it feels to be chosen by a woman, to raise and love and honor her child for all the days the Lord allows us to on this earth. Our hearts ache with love and respect for you already, regardless of if you place your baby with our family or not. We have been praying for our second birth mother for a while now. If you choose to trust our family to raise your baby, then know without a doubt that your sweet gift and miracle to our family will be loved and cherished and adored from day one. Even now our hearts are filled with joy at the thought of being given a second chance at parenthood.

As you are reading this letter and looking through this book, we hope you see a family that loves each other deeply and cherishes each moment together. We hope you see a family that is excited to open their hearts to a new baby and sibling as well as a family that deeply desires to honor God in their lives and in their family.

We hope as you are on this journey that you feel comfort in knowing families like ours love and respect and honor mamas like you. We look forward to loving you and supporting you as little or as much as you wish.

About Us

We are so excited to continue growing our family through adoption once again. Allen, who is a youth pastor, loves going to sporting events, whether it’s high school sports, college sports, or professional sporting games. He has a huge, contagious laugh and loves being “the prankster.” Lindsay, a teacher, is the creative, crafty one. She loves shopping, decorating, drawing, and crafting. She loves spending time with both her boys at the movie theater, on vacation, and during weekly dates. We have one son, Noah, who is seven and keeps us on our toes. He loves drumming, playing sports, hanging out with friends, and having family game nights. We love spending time as a family, having board game nights, traveling, baking together in the kitchen, playing outside, riding our bikes together, and watching movies while cuddled up on the couch.

Our Home & Pets

We were very careful in choosing the neighborhood, school, church, and community we live in. As an interracial family, we wanted Noah to not be the only little brown boy in a white world. That’s unfair to him. Our community is very diverse, and our neighborhood is even more so. We have all races and ethnicities in our neighborhood. Children of all backgrounds and races play together, ride bikes on the trails behind our homes, and walk their dogs. It’s the perfect family neighborhood. Noah also attends our neighborhood school. We have one dog, Lucy, whom we adore. She is so sweet with kids, and she and Noah are the best of friends.

Our Extended Family

Allen is the youngest of two children. His sister is eight years older than he is, is married, and has two sons. Allen’s parents are some of the most loving and kind people anyone could meet. They love their family deeply and enjoy spoiling their three grandsons. Allen’s parents live on a large farm where the boys can run, play, and ride the Gator all over the farm. The grandsons love going fishing with Granny and Pa, helping Pa in the barn, and cooking with Granny in the kitchen.

Lindsay is the oldest of two children. Her sister is three years younger than her, is married, and has a little boy and a little girl. Lindsay’s parents are loving and caring people. They are very involved in their church and community. For family get-togethers, they love renting houses on the lake or at the beach for family gatherings. They love their grandbabies and enjoy getting to be Grammy and PawPaw. The grandchildren love crafting with Grammy and playing catch with PawPaw outside.

Our Adoption Story

This is the second time we are choosing to grow our family through adoption. We have struggled with infertility our entire marriage. We feel called and drawn to adoption for our family. We are so fortunate and blessed to have our son, Noah, through adoption. We first held him at nine hours old and have loved and cherished every moment with him since. We are so thankful for his Tummy Mommy for choosing and trusting us to love and raise him. We are forever grateful for her and her love for him. We are so excited to adopt again. Noah is so excited to become a big brother and can’t wait to love on and care for a baby brother or baby sister.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
