dear expectant mother

We are so grateful that you took the time to read about us. We know that this is not an easy decision, and we cannot imagine what you are going through.

We know that we will be the best parents we can be for your child. He or she will always be loved, appreciated, celebrated, and supported. We promise that your child will come first in our lives. Our fur babies will have to get used to having a new sibling, but they are just as excited as we are. Our parents fully support our choice and dream to become parents. They have always been there for us, the same way we hope to be there for your child. We hope to continue our travels and adventures, and family gatherings and holidays will be all the more poignant and special if we can share them with your child. Hopefully, we will be able to give your child a sibling in the future as well.

Please know that we will love your child all the days of our lives. If you choose us, we will be forever grateful to you. Being parents is what we have dreamed about for forever, and we hope that you can trust us to be there for your child and you.

About Us

We met at a friend’s party 11 years ago. Immediately, Tony was impressed with Leslie’s ambition and wit. Leslie saw Tony’s big heart and jovial personality but took more convincing before going out with him. We began dating 15 months later. After three years of dating, we went ring shopping, and Tony asked Leslie’s parents for her hand in marriage. Our wedding together was filled with family and friends celebrating our love. Tony is a firefighter who absolutely loves his job. Leslie is an 8th grade English teacher who is respected by all. We have traveled domestically and abroad and hope to go on many more family vacations, but we also love spending time with our family, friends, and three dogs. We have remodeled our entire home together. We are a great team and have accomplished many goals together, including job changes, buying a home, and overcoming struggles.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is located in a large city in Illinois in a neighborhood filled with public servants like police, teachers, and firefighters for neighbors. We have completely remodeled our three-bedroom, two-bathroom brick house with our own style. There is a huge park near our house, and the local high school is within walking distance. Our dogs—Gizmo, McLovin, and Bruno—love walking around our quiet neighborhood and their private backyard, where Tony hopes to install a few garden boxes to grow vegetables.

Our Extended Family

We both come from loving families. Tony’s parents live within 10 minutes of our home, and we see them for family dinners on the weekend. His dad has helped us fix up our house too. Tony has a brother who is getting married soon and a sister who died of cancer 12 years ago. Tony’s mom is so excited to be a grandma that she said she’d work part time at her job to help out!

Leslie’s parents live about 10 miles away. They are both retired and love spending time with our dogs and us. They are extremely excited to be grandparents for the first time. Leslie has one sister who is married and lives 30 miles away. They see each other about once a month.

We celebrate birthdays and holidays with both sides of the family. Everyone buys gifts, shares delicious homemade food, and plays board games. We look forward to family time because it’s relaxing and enjoyable. A child would bring a whole new element to our family fun. We would look forward to holidays and our summer tradition of attending the state fair even more.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to be parents. Sharing our interests and values with a little human has been something we have dreamed about, and we have seen positive results from adoptions completed by close family friends and neighbors. We both love children. Leslie, being a teacher, is surrounded by children all day. Tony loves when kids come to the firehouse for a tour or when we get to attend a friend’s kid’s birthday party. Adoption is the exciting path we have chosen in hopes of building our family, and we know we will love your child as our own.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
