We are humbled, grateful that you would consider us to raise your baby which is truly a blessing beyond imagination. We would be honored and grateful to raise your child surrounded by the love, joy, peace, and security of our family and friends. Your baby will always be loved and feel a sense of security. We are thrilled about the potential of teaching your baby many of our family traditions as well as journey through the world together creating new family traditions. We want to give your baby a well-rounded view of the world from cooking our grannys famous yeast rolls, to family easter egg hunts, to share our love of sports and outdoors, to gaining knowledge through the best education, to being grounded in faith, to giving back to those in need, to spending time with Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a village of friends at one of our many family gatherings. Or just simply cozying up around the house making our grandma's cinnamon buns in our pajamas on a Saturday morning reading a book or before going out to play. We especially look forward to sharing the tradition of bedtime stories and our love of music across all genres and generations. There are so many things we want to share. At the same time, we realize that we will learn so many things from your child respecting what they will naturally gain from you. We would be so grateful and blessed to be considered to raise your gift, your child.
About Us
We are an energetic, fun-loving couple who embrace positivity in our everyday lives with one another, family, friends, at work or play. We love to travel and embrace different cultures. We enjoy exercising in various forms including running multiple marathons, boxing, spin, and high intensity interval training workouts. We are Auntie Leslie and Uncle Rasheed to our little people consisting of nieces and nephews as well as extended family friends. Holidays are the best as we love spending time with our families to love, laugh, eat, and be merry! We are fortunate to work as executives in careers that impact people and families. We have a passion for community service especially pouring into the youth! We are grounded in faith,family, giving, education, and perseverance.
Our Home
Our home is currently located in a multicultural neighborhood within walking distance of parks, great schools, museums, and a large lake. We love to be outside and enjoy days in the park, walking, or sledding with friends and family. Our home is reflective of our lives as the walls are filled with framed art of family, our little people’s art, life, travel, books, and cultural experiences. The expansive floor plan allows for large bedrooms, (one room dedicated for the baby), large bathrooms with a formal dining room and living room enabling plenty of room to play. We love to cook thus our kitchen tends to be the center of our home as our family and friends gather to enjoy each other over a fabulous meal.
Our Extended Family
We both come from large extended families. This includes over 100 immediate family including grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunts, and cousins. These relatives are in the immediate metro area and within driving and flying of our home. We enjoy spending birthdays and children sporting events (soccer, basketball, baseball, football) together. In addition, we enjoy spending holidays at one another's home. Our favorite is matching pajamas on Christmas! The children in our lives from family and friends have a following of Aunts and Uncles that attend birthday parties, tea parties, sporting events, school events and academic achievement. We are the Aunt and Uncle that focus on learning and striving to be the best you can be thus we believe in providing educational experiences. We have so many exciting family traditions that we can’t wait to pass along from holiday traditions (Thanksgiving and Christmas are favorites) to family vacations, to just sitting around the table and enjoying our grandmother's yeast rolls!
What Led Us To Adoption
We are extremely excited to adopt. Our decision to adopt came from our love for one another and deciding to share our love and family with a child. We felt our family would be strengthened by adoption allowing us to learn and grow as a couple and as parents. Our experiences have helped understand the gift to any family adoption through family and friends who have adopted or have been adopted. Our village is thrilled about this purpose filled journey of expanding our family. We find ourselves blessed beyond measure in being surrounded by an amazing gift of family and friends. We are even more excited about how our lives will change due to the gift of life to expand our family with your beautiful child.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
