dear expectant mother
We can only imagine what you are feeling or what has led you to consider adoption for you and your baby. We cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you to choose a family to raise and love your child. We want you to know that your child will be such a joyful addition to our family. We are so excited for him or her to be here and cannot wait to share our love with your child.
We look forward to all of the milestones your child will have, like sitting up on their own, crawling, walking, and talking, their first prom, first day of college, and their wedding day. We pray for you and your baby often and know this is a plan designed by God. We truly believe that you and your child are a blessing to our family. We pray you feel peace about your decision, and please know we are so thankful for you. We believe the amount of courage and strength you have is amazing, and we look forward to getting to know you!
We have been together since high school and recently celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. Lee attended trade school and is a cutting tool specialist for an international manufacturing company. He enjoys college football, archery, hunting, and fishing. Amanda attended trade school, as well, and is a licensed practical nurse/clinic manager at an OB/GYN office for a national company. She enjoys crafting, music, and landscaping. We both enjoy spending time together doing outdoor activities, such as camping and going to the lake. We also love going to concerts together for date nights.
We also have a 5 year old daughter named Marlee who is very excited about becoming a big sister. She often talks about all the new things she is going to teach her potential brother/sister. She loves being outdoors, riding her bike in our cul-de-sac. She is also in her 4th season of soccer. Marlee recently started Kindergarten and LOVES reading new books.
Our Home & Pets
We recently moved back to our hometown and have lived in our current home for a little over two years now. Our home has three bedrooms and two baths and includes a family room above the garage. Our town is small and diverse but it’s growing daily. Our neighborhood has large yards and is full of young children. Our community offers several sports for children as well as other extra-curricular activities, such as dance and music classes. A few of our favorite things about our community is their love for high school football and the seasonal craft shows and parades.
Our Extended Family
We both come from larger families. Lee is the oldest of five siblings, and Amanda is one of four siblings. We have a total of six nieces and nephews, with two more on the way. Some of our favorite times are when we get together with our siblings to cook out, hang out by the fire pit, or go swimming in Grandma’s pool. We both either see or speak to our siblings weekly.
Family is very important to both of us, and we always make plans to include our families in the major holidays, where old and new traditions abound. Everyone is so excited for a new little one to join in the fun!
What Led Us To Adoption
As a young child, adoption was something Amanda knew she wanted to pursue someday, and she was influenced by her step-father, who came into her life around the age of ten and loved her like she was his own. This love taught Amanda that family is more than just blood. Before we were even engaged to be married, we discussed the idea of adopting. We both agreed that regardless of the ability to have biological children, adoption would still be the primary way we would want to expand our family. Lee and Amanda both truly feel that adoption is such a special way to expand their family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
