dear expectant mother
Words do not begin to express how grateful we are you’re considering us as potential parents to your precious baby. Although we do not understand all you are going through at this time, know we are praying for you. It takes strength and courage to consider an adoption plan for your baby, which we find both beautiful and admirable. We want you to know that if chosen, we will be there to support you in any way we can.
We would be so honored if blessed to raise your baby, and our lives would be forever changed. Your baby would be surrounded by so much love, not only from us but extended family as well. Cousins are so excited to have another playmate, uncles and aunts have open hearts and arms ready for another baby to love, and grandparents are looking forward to another grandbaby to spoil.
As we anticipate bringing a baby into our home, there is so much we look forward to doing as a family. Being able to travel together to places like SeaWorld, exploring the Smoky Mountains, or building sandcastles on the beach is something we can’t wait to do. Again, we are honored and humbled you have considered us and pray you have peace through this journey.
We are Matthew and LeAnne. We met when mutual friends set us up on a blind date ten years ago, and it has been love ever since. We had been dating just over three months when Matthew asked LeAnne to marry him, and three months later, we were married! Matthew is self-employed as a musical instrument technician, and LeAnne works at a family clinic as an office administrator. We enjoy exploring new places together during our vacations as well as hiking trails around our state. Our favorite place is the beach; LeAnne enjoys listening to the waves and reading while Matthew hunts for seashells. Our hobbies include hiking, kayaking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with our family and pets. Above all, quality time with each other is most important. Matthew enjoys photography, woodworking, and playing the piano. LeAnne enjoys reading, shopping, and decorating.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-story colonial in a cul-de-sac out in the country. Our back yard is fenced in with plenty of room to run and play. We have three dogs. Lady, our Pekingese/pomeranian mix is ten years old and full of energy; her favorite activity is playing fetch. Maisie, our Scottish terrier is four years old and loves to lay around. Tennessee is our beagle puppy; she is as playful as they come and likes to aggravate her sisters. All three of our dogs are very friendly and can’t wait to have a child to run around with. Our area has the advantage of being remote yet close to a major city for any activity.
Our Extended Family
We both grew up in very faith-based, family-oriented homes. When we first announced to our families we were adopting, they were over-the-moon excited for us. Everyone in our family has shared in our adoption journey by praying for and with us that God would guide us along the way.
Adoption is very personal for Matthew. Not only was he adopted but his mom and uncles were as well. Matthew’s grandmother adopted all three of her children, and when Matthew was young, his grandmother stepped in and adopted him. Matthew has fond memories of going to church activities with his grandmother and of family holiday dinners. Matthew still had contact with his mom and enjoyed visits with her in the park. To this day he enjoys catching up with her on a regular basis.
LeAnne comes from a large family with four brothers and two sisters and now four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and seventeen nieces and nephews. Some of the fondest childhood memories LeAnne has are of family vacations and spending time playing together outside. Both our families live, laugh, and love big, and we can’t wait to share that with our child!
When LeAnne was 16, she was diagnosed with Turner’s syndrome, meaning she would face infertility. Little did she know that God had the perfect mate for her in Matthew. On our first official date, we were discussing Matthew’s adoption and the adoption of his friends and family when Matthew made the comment that he had felt called to adopt one day. LeAnne was pleasantly surprised that Matthew felt the same way she did and was so excited as she knew only God could have put this in both our hearts. During our nine years of marriage, growing our family through adoption has been a major focus, and we can’t wait to share the love we have for each other with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
