dear expectant mother
To a Loving Mother:
When we began praying about our adoption journey, you were in our thoughts and prayers. We admire you for the love you have for your child. No matter who you are or what your circumstances may be, we thank God for you. We pray for you and your child every day. We hope you have love and support wherever you are on your journey. Please know we are thinking about you. We feel so honored you are reviewing our profile and hopefully considering making our dreams of becoming parents come true. Your child would be the most important person in our lives.
Should you choose us, we would surround your baby with endless love and support. They will be included in all of our activities, adventures, and traditions. We are open to any level of continuing communication you’re comfortable with. We are SO excited to possibly meet you. We are thrilled with the possibility of having the privilege of being blessed with the most precious and amazing gift we could ever receive. They will be adored and loved with all of our hearts. GOD BLESS YOU, and thank you for considering us.
Lavina and Steven
We have been happily married for eight years. We love spending our time outdoors. In the summer, we enjoy fishing, swimming, camping, boating, hiking, and cookouts. We love sitting around the campfire listening to everyone’s stories while eating smores. Summer is so much fun! Steven loves to go sledding with our nieces and nephews in the winter. Steven works at a shop only three miles from home, which is very convenient. Lavina loves being a homemaker, and she can’t wait to be a stay-at-home mom! She enjoys working in our garden and flower beds, sewing, cooking, baking, and spoiling our nieces and nephews. We look forward to spending quality time together at the end of the day while having dinner (we love steaks and fresh vegetables out of the garden), talking about our day, and then enjoying a walk, playing with pets, or going for a ride. We are so excited for a little one to join us.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is on the farm where Steven grew up. We moved here shortly after we were married. We own a lot of horses: Belgians, standard breeds, Dutch harness, and three miniature pony mares. We raise eight to ten foals each year. We also have two amazing dogs, Tansy and Tony, that follow us wherever we go. We would feel so blessed to raise a child in such a miraculous place full of so much life, fresh air, and sunrises and sunsets. There are so many memories to be made here. We live only 1.5 miles from our church and less than a mile from our local school. We have a few local grocery stores and so much land to run and play on.
Our Extended Family
We both come from big families; Steven has six siblings, and Lavina has ten siblings. We all attend the same church. Steven’s family all loves their horses. Steven’s brother has four horse sales each year at his place. He has two big barns: one to stall his horses and the other is the auction barn with bleachers on two sides of the building. These sales are always a hit! We also love family get-togethers for birthdays and holidays.
Lavina’s family loves their family get-togethers and yearly campout in July. Lavina has a sister who lost her arm in an accident at work; she has five children, and Lavina loves to help her with whatever she needs.
Being together with family means a lot to us. Children are a gift from God and a gift for us to love.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve always known we are meant to be parents. We have so much love to give! After years of trying to conceive, we learned Lavina has PCOS, which makes having biological children difficult. We have talked about the beauty of adoption and know the time is finally right to grow our family. Steven has a brother and sister-in-law who are fostering. They have a little boy they’ve had since he was seven weeks old, and he’s two now; he’s such a highlight to all of us. Steven also has a cousin who was adopted. The memories we made with them will always be treasured. We can’t wait to create memories with our future child. We are thrilled to be on this journey!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
